This is as close to a perfect campground in all our years of traveling. Priced reasonably with lots of activities including a pool, arcade, and much more on site. We averaged $35 / night for 3 nights for W/E30/I with our Passport America discount ($53 without). Our site was very spacious, sunny and on very level asphalt. There was sufficient room to park our toad and the interior roads were easy to navigate. Internet service was fair. This campground is 18 miles north of Toledo and 35 miles south of Detroit just off I-75 in Monroe, MI. We visited the spectacular Edsel and Eleanor Ford home and Holocaust Memorial Center.

Clean and very orderly. Nice big area to park when checking in. Sites are long and narrow. Watch slides closely to where hookups are located. Some can be a problem when extending. Liked the fire pits with flip down grills. Would like more trees to cut intense August sun. The retail (shopping ctr., McDonalds, Burger King) in the area are all closed up. Not sure if CoVid related or because the North ramp to get on Hwy 75 is shut down or other reasons but looked like it was once bustling and now kinda over grown and neglected. Very convenient Speedway gas station at entrance. Nice mini golf, go karts, batting cages, ice cream next door. We used PA for two nights and stayed here to go to Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. The $63/night is beyond what I like to pay but $50% off makes it work. My only disappointment was inability to use campground internet. Multiple places to connect but my i-phone, HP laptop and sons Galaxy S20 could not connect. Instead used AT&T with about 15mbps down. Proximity to hwy is handy. Road noise and trains not a problem. Not an area where trains whistle.

Everyone we ran into was extremely friendly. Neighbors on all sides stopped to chat. Just 2 of us, and we are in a class A, so everything we need is in the rig, thus we didn’t use amenities like bath houses or laundry although from the outside they look nice and it seems they clean them often. 121 is a pull thru. Plenty long enough for our 43’ rig and a toad. The sites are narrow, but we had plenty of room. Nice level cement slabs, grass is nice.

We pulled in around 11pm, they had left us a map and site number. It turned out to be a pull through. We got all hooked up and then everyone headed to the showers. The showers were great, warm, had awesome water pressure, were clean and included in the price. We wanted to use the pool, but needed to go see family up river. When we got back, we were having thunder and lightning so the pool was closed. Our site came with full hookups, fire pit, and picnic table. No clotheslines permitted, but there is a laundry facility we did not use. At the office they do have some essentials if needed. Next door at the entrance is a Speedway gas station. You can hear the trains at night, only loud when they decided to blow the horn.If we were not visiting family we may have had more time to use the resort's amenities.

We've been full-time travelers for just over 6 months. Our travel "style" have evolved over this time and includes a variety ways to stay the night. We use a place like Harbortown RV Resort for overnight stops that include laundry and emptying our tanks. We had good Verizon service and didn't use the campground Wi-Fi.Harbortown is a large family-style park, well-kept and clean. There's a pool and nearby miniature golf and go-cart riding. They have a play ground for the kids.Doing laundry is expensive compared to comparable places, but again, the facility is clean and I had no trouble procuring machines to do the laundry at the beginning of a week. They have two large commercial washing machines too.Campground has some background highway noise, train tracks run in back of the park (no horns at the campsite). We slept well. One could reasonably ride a bike around or walk for exercise, but the road accessing the park is busy. There's a Kroger Market a few miles from the park in Monroe.I used the fire pit/grill. I had to get the bottles and cigarette butts and other trash out of it before I could use it.
