10/11/19 thru 10/12/19 - 1 Night - $25.00 - 42' 5th WheelHappy Our RV Park - 14627 S. East Mail Rd. - Gordon WI - (715) 919-0914 - Space 7Closes on or about Nov 1. On 10/10/19, they shut off water. Electric and Sewer still available.Electric only at this time of year. 50A. Verizon - 0 BarsWARNING!!!Low Train Bridge in Gordon! 13' 0". Actual height is likely less. We could not go under. Detoured at RR Bridge. Turn Right. Go about 1/2 mile. Cross over tracks and come back to intersection at tracks.Gravel/Dirt roads. Enter into park and turn left. Not right. Parking sites are sand/dirt. Muddy in the rain.Electric, water, sewer connections - mid ship location. Only electric and sewer was available at this time of year.Water turned OFF the day before we arrived (10/10).We were traveling from Wyoming toward the UP of Michigan. We needed a place to stay for the night. Owners were very accommodating but stated that water had just been shut off prior to our arrival. They offered that the electricity was still on and we were welcome to come by. Rates were discounted as a result of the water. Very friendly and helpful owners. There is a restaurant/bar in front of the park. It must be the only one for miles. Hence the probable name "Happy Ours" (Happy Hours)...Quiet location at this time of year.If traveling through this location again, we would likely stay. When pulling into the park, it would be best to turn left (just past the restaurant/bar) at the intersection and take the long way around to Lot 7. Your utilities will line up better.We did not use any shower facilities on site.At this time of year, it is very quiet. There is hardly anyone around. It is in the middle of nowhere.Big Rigs OK.
