Gravel pads, on the small side. Not the smallest we have stayed at. Nice people. People with motorcycles where awesome. They wouldn’t start their bikes until they hit the road outside the park, if they needed to leave before 7 am. Didn’t have the issue with the trucks going to the mine. The trucks drove super slow through the park. Absolutely beautiful views of the mountains and let me tell you that you are missing out on absolutely awesome views of the night sky. I don’t use awesome very often but when it calls for it, use it. Bring a telescope if you have one. If you don’t have one, Buy one. You will not be disappointed if you buy one. 3 bathrooms with showers. Unfortunately no laundry on site. But the gas station/laundry mat had industrial washers. Which was awesome. 4 load in one wash. Woohoo. Really that was the only downside to this camp group.

Interesting place to stay to say the least. For $30 there was no wifi, diesel trucks started warming up engines at 4 AM, truck alarms were going off all night, we were packed into a gravel parking lot without so much as a picnic table and the hot water was out in the showers. For $30 there was no wifi, diesel trucks started warming up engines at 4 AM, truck alarms were going off all night, we were packed into a gravel parking lot without so much as a picnic table and the hot water was out in the showers. To top it off the person that parked us told us we were fine and wouldn't even have to unhook when we were clearly so unlevel that we all would have rolled out of bed and into the living are of our RV. Not big rig friendly for overnighters. They did wave and say thanks for coming when we left, though. Oh, and no cafe was found if you are coming hungry.
