This is a great little campground if you are in the area. 6 sites, well laid out and spacious. Easy to get in and out in our 40 foot fifth wheel. Full hookups, picnic tables and fire pits. The owner is very friendly and helpful if you need anything. Very convenient to the small downtown area. Absolutely no Verizon signal or TV reception. Most businesses in town do offer WiFi if needed.
New campground, walking distance to town, full hook ups along the Greenbrier Trail!

I don't know if I will ever get to write the FIRST review of a campground on Campendium again, but if not, I am glad it is for this one.Marlinton Creek and Trail Campground is a new, privately-owned, 6-site campground fanned out on a 3 acre field nestled next to the hamlet of Marlinton, West Virginia. If you are interested in hiking, biking or riding along the Greenbrier Trail and have an RV, this may be an ideal place to base your expedition. Each site comes with full hookups (20/30/50 amps), town water and town sewer, a picnic table and a fire ring. It butts up against the lovely Knapp creek and is a few blocks from "downtown" Marlinton - an easy walk to groceries, restaurants and the local visitors' center. If camping in a tent, we recommend sites 2-4 which have some shade. Brian the owner, is friendly and accommodating. We were the only campers for three of the four nights there as this is still a hidden gem. No OTA TV channels available, but some cell signal (T-Mobile).Will be back when we do the Greenbrier Trail on bike again.
