    A nice quiet campground. All sites are gravel. Some sites are pull through and some are back in. Carmen is very nice and told us to pick our own spot. Approximately 2 miles to the entrance of New River Gorge National Park and 10 miles south of the New River Gorge Bridge. It's also across the street from the Army National Guard and gives Military discount. This is a no frills campground but all sights are full hookup. On top of a hill with woods. Highly recommend if like quiet no frills campground close to attractions. ????????????????????????????????????????

    This campground offered quick access to the white water rafting and the royal gorge bridge. However upon arrival we were extremely disappointed. It is basically a parking lot with no shade. The sites are pull thru mostly, but you have to share your power with your neighbor which I do not prefer. The campground office is cluttered and very uninviting. They do have a very nice bathhouse on site. There are a lot of permanent campers on site which doesn't really bother me. However the kids had a lot of ATV's that they rode in the campground at all hours of the day and night. We were trying to enjoy supper with kids zooming by the campground on their ATV's. The other campers were nice, but his is not a place that you would want to stay to enjoy your vacation. I would not recommend for even an overnight stay.
