This campground is located right on Forest Road 88 leading into the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Price listed above is for a power and water site. There are sites with full hookups we have used on past visits. The campground provides a good mix of forest shade and open sun, with walking paths leading to the adjacent Trout Lake Creek Natural Area Preserve. Amazing views of Mount Adams; some of the sites on the meadow have these views along with views up the Trout Lake Creek drainage into the National Forest. The campground has a couple of restrooms and bathhouses, which I didn’t use due to being in a travel trailer. The office has free WiFi but I could not get cell service or either of my T-Mobile or Verizon phones. A country store a couple of miles back in Trout Lake has anything you might need for food plus some limited camping supplies. This is one of my family’s favorite parks and my only complaint is we did have some low voltage issues that our EMS caught. It was a hot summer day so likely it was caused by all of the camper AC units running at the same time. Not a huge deal as we have run into this at other parks we have stayed at in the summer in the West.

We’re never disappointed. The sites are all level, many are full hookups with sewer. There is no AT&T service within the park, but the office has WiFi and a short hike to Lake Rd will get you service. The sites are clean, private and quiet. The park is well laid out with wide roads... great for backing in to sites. The hosts are always friendly and accommodating. Wood and ice are available at the office. There are several nearby hikes, depending on the season.
