If you are looking for a good and quiet location without much else, this is the place for you. No bathrooms/showers or laundry and the wifi only worked if you sat under the tower.

It was about 40-50% full. I thought they only allowed Airstreams in but I was wrong. There were only about 5 Airstreams in the transient parking. The park needs to update their electrical hookups. They only have 30amp and my pedestal was not working at all, I had to use the one next to me. The community hall was shut down due to Covid so I cannot comment on that. Olympia/Lacey area has a lot of amenities, but not all were open. They supply WiFi but do not have a great coverage as a large motorhome blocked us for a couple of days. AT&T streaming was strong.

We had a nice, quiet stay. Don't expect a lot, but this park has history. It was built in the 60s by an airstream club. It's a "safe harbor" for "land yachts". Period.Staff is nice, there is wifi and good cell reception.

Like others said and the pictures show, you're packed in like sardines on gravel. Nothing to seperate you from the next camper except air. Whoever the man was that worked the front desk was rather rude. The "campground" (cough cough parking lot) is directly out front the office, had 8 empty spots in perfect line of sight, plus 3 completely empty rows at the back.. he told me they were nearly full so I couldn't just have my pick of a site. He then gave me a site at the end of a fully occupied row, where RVs and personal vehicles jutted out at varying lengths.. We probably maybe could've jig-jogged our way in but it would've taken some work. I went back to the office and asked to be put 2 rows back which was about 25% full and he gave a response like I was putting him out or asking too much or didnt know how to park our RV. Whatever.Wi-Fi was non existent. (Yet another rude comment when my husband called to ask if the password was correct.)Sewer is at the back of the site so even our 2 connected hoses didnt reach. This place is garbage and they must be laughing all the way to the bank charging people $36/night. The only reason we stayed was for its location, as we arent on vacation, and im glad its only 1 night!!

I will be glad when my week is up.

  • If you get a decent site, you might be okay. Tight spaces, no parking, bad wifi. Located in town.

Very tight spacing and no parking. The Wifi is unusable. There is a fenced in dog area and it's located in town. 3 bars Verizon LTE. We paid a weekly rate of $180, plus an extra day with Good Sam at $27 when we stayed in August 2018.I’ll start with our horrible sewer situation: we came from boondocking, but didn’t need to dump right away, so we waited a couple days to hook up the sewer and dump. If we hadn’t waited, we would have realized that the sewer drain was located up hill, to the point of being north of our RV sewer outlet. We had to dump by pulling the handle for only a couple seconds and then walking the sewage down the hose, to the drain. It was awful and took over an hour. When we complained, they said that half of their sites are up hill and half are down hill. Wow. We were very upset by this, but they just told us to call the owner. We used the dump station at the end of our 8 day stay instead of trying to use our hookups again. There is no turnaround after the dump station, so we would up driving a half mile through their RV storage and then had to back up out of the dead end with no signs or directions of how else to get out. Ridiculous. Also one day, the power and water was shut off for several hours for routine maintenance, but without notice to the campers- no signs, no warning. When we complained, they said an email was sent out a week ago to residents. Again, wow. A sign in the office, or a simple warning at check-in would have worked. We were not residents and could not have possibly received a warning with an email a week before we arrived. So, about the park- it’s a residential area that includes houses, RV sites and a rentable conference building. The RV sites are crammed together on parking lots made of rocks. Unless you have a small rig, there is nowhere to park your vehicle. Luckily, we were next to a friend and could park our truck horizontally in front of our rig and theirs. Otherwise, I’m not sure what we would have done. This is the cheapest place we could find in the Olympia, WA area, so I guess we might stay again if we could make sure the sewer was downhill and we could have a site that would accommodate parking.

Very nice staff, helpful at check in.We didn't hook up to sewer as it was uphill at our site. Other sites are more level. The sites are on a gravel lot, defined by a painted stripe in between. Barely enough room for your rig with toad parked beside (we couldn't open rig door and Jeep door at the same time).Only green is down a small hill to a nice park-like area with grass and trees.Dump site is weird as you have to turn around in someone's driveway to get out - there is no loop or place to turn out - so don't hook up toad until after dumping if you need it.

The campground really isn't great, if you are looking for a place to hang out. It is a gravel lot. But, all sites are full hook up. They say they have wifi, but the clerk told me it really wasn't working. I had good a Verizon signal, so I just used that. I had pretty good TV reception with my antenna.I used the campground as a base of operation for exploring the area, and for that it worked out just great.

The sites are lined up in a large gravel field, with no trees, shade or privacy between spots. There is enough room to park a tow vehicle/toad for small to medium-sized rigs, but larger rigs had trouble not sticking out into the road. A handful of sites on the end will allow you to open your RV door to some trees, affording a bit of privacy; secure one of these, if you can. There's a meeting hall facility with bathrooms, but no showers or laundry facility. The cool part about this park is the large, park-like Tvetengrove, with large trees, ladderball, a fenced in dog park, picnic tables, and tons of space for kids to play and folks to walk. There are also plenty of streets for walking or biking in the neighborhood. It's a peaceful area, and it's fun looking at all the Airstreams in storage, as the park used to cater exclusively to Airstreamers. The park is a quick drive to a grocery store and restaurants, and it only takes 20 minutes to get to downtown Olympia. The staff is helpful, and the location is good.In short, it's a decent and affordable place to stay near Washington's capital city, but you have to really work at enjoying any scenery or privacy from your rig.

While there was a higher percentage of Airstreams than in most RV parks, there were lots of other brands as well. With the Escapees discount, the rate with tax was actually less than the published rate without tax.Last time we were in Olympia, we stayed south of town at a nice park that was heavily shaded and a bit hectic over the holiday weekend. This park, on the other hand, has essentially no shade, but was very quiet, and was 30% less expensive. Since our time in Olympia centers around family, easy access was key and this park has that in spades. The upsides were price, quiet, and location. The downsides were the lack of a laundry or shower facility, the lack of any separation other than a chalk line between the (all back-in) sites, and the positioning of all the utilities at the back of the site. Essentially all sites have a slight slope. Even though it was a holiday weekend, the park was less than half full. I understand it can be standing room only when the Airstream events are hosted.I have 5 bars on both AT&T and Verizon MiFi's but Verizon was twice as fast when I tested them. It's just a place to stay, but it's the place we'll plan on next time we're in the area.
