Our site had a concrete pad, picnic table, and fire ring with grass between sites. We only stayed one night but no issues. FHU with strong power and solid WiFi.Their online reservation website will let you select a site. I suggest using it and stay as far away from the front as possible. The park is near the freeway, but the park slopes down hill so as you move towards the back it's much quieter.

FHUs ok, cute store with ice cream cones for sale! Odessa a small old town with closed stores downtown, not pretty.

I hadn’t planned to unhook, but our pull thru wasn’t level enough to confidently bring out slides without using legos under our fifth wheel’s tires, so unhook we did. We enjoyed spending money in the store. We had absolutely fantastic internet but we were very close to the office.

There are some full time residents, but it is mostly traveling folks like we were . We went to visit WarmSprings Ranch - the breeding/training facility for the Budwiser Clydesdales. That is a great trip and just over an hour away from this park. The park was clean, good utility hookups and the staff was most helpful. The market is really nice and lots of specialty foods and chesses. We would definitely return.

Campground is right on I-70, but we did not notice the road noise at all and we were in the middle of the campground. I am sure it is more noticeable on the outer sites, but we were fine. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. On-site market was very cute, with a large selection of cheeses and wines from the Amish country, along with ice cream, snacks and clothing. Only issue was some of the cheeses and meats were past their expiration date. We grabbed snacks and some water. The campground is under renovation and expansion. The showers, laundry and pool were all relatively new. Nice and clean, although we did not use them. They even had a large storm shelter for people to evacuate to in case of severe weather. The sites are a combination of paved and gravel. We stayed in a pull-thru, paved site with full hook-ups. We had a patch of grass, a picnic table and a tree to provide a bit of shade. There is a small pond in the back of the property where they were doing a lot of work. Not sure I would make this a destination, but it is nice for one or two nights!

The sites that are paved pull-throughs are nice and level, but the grass between them is very sloped, leaving little outdoor living space. I would recommend not choosing one of these sites at the back of the park if it has recently rained as the gravel isn’t well-packed yet and is quite deep. Eventually this will be a fantastic park what with the market and lovely pool, but right now is a work in progress.

The only challenge on access is that we arrived in the dark and the turn onto the outer access road was very hard to see. We would stay again and highly recommend Owl Creek!

We needed just one night stay. Found a review of it here and booked it easily through their website owlcreekrv.com. They have concrete and gravel pull through and back in. Showers are impeccable and open 24 hours, as is their laundry room (did not use). It is located right off 70 so easy in and out.

We were pleasantly surprised that there is a brand new pool as well as sparkling clean bathhouse. It was a perfect way to cool off after a long day of driving. They are still finishing some upgrades so our site was a little wonky-the fire pit hadn’t been placed yet, but didn’t bother us.

Quiet campground. Level, paved site. WiFI actually works (most campgrounds don’t have working Wifi even though they advertise it). Bathrooms/showers are under construction so I’ll give them a pass. But when they’re fixed, this place will be aces. The country store there is really nice.

Stopped for one night. Friendly staff. One shower/restroom for whole park. Quiet even though it’s right off I-70. Park is a bit rundown and our sites electric didn’t work. Looks to have some permanent residents. Park is under new management and working to improve supposedly. WiFi is included.
