Overall this is a great park. Good paved and level pads, nice, managers, decent wifi, a dog run and they sell ice and fire wood for $2 and $5 respectively so I didn’t have to pack them in. Don’t missing checking out Fort Casey, it is by far the best WWII era Fort on the west coast to check out. It is huge and awesome if you like history and exploring it. My kids and I will come back to explorer it some more in the future. We did not have jets flying around but it is by the air base so that will happen. We had a great time, and we will be back.

Warning Navy Jets may make their presence be known. You have been warned by me and the park management. Now that is out of the way hardly noticed them but depending on operations of the navy could be loud and late. This park is right next to Deception Pass State Park. This is a gem good hiking and views. The park was nice ours was level but almost a 90 to get into. Manager was very friendly. It sounds like there is new management. Overall had a great time for our first time out.

The big differences were that the NAS jets don't fly on the weekends - or at least not as much - and the water pressure was not as strong in April. We thought at first maybe it was us, but the cold water pressure was good sometimes and a trickle other times, usually somewhere in between - and we've had great pressure at the next two parks. I felt like the jets weren't a big deal except that we both work and trying to have a conference call with jets flying 500 feet above you is difficult at best. Luckily, we have very good noise-cancelling headphones that helped. Other than those two issues, we think the park is lovely and well-kept. We were able to work using either our internet or the park's - we did use our WeBoost and were only able to use our Verizon phones with WiFi. Texting was fine. The staff, especially Libby, is friendly and knowledgeable. You're right across the street from Deception Pass State Park, down the road from the bridge and a short walk to Seabolt's famous and awesome fish and chips. Oak Harbor is a short 15 minutes away for groceries and restaurants. We highly recommend the Island Cafe for breakfast. If you can be patient with the water pressure and don't have to work or have noise-cancelling headphones for phone calls, give it a try!

We stayed here for an Airstream Rally and had great internet service, but there's no privacy between spots - your standard rv park layout. It was really clean and the staff was really helpful and nice. Its a short walk to Deception Pass as well.
