We were given a small discount for paying cash. The pull thru FHU sites were level and had enough room for our tow vehicle. There was a nice picnic table, but the placement of the fire ring was a little odd. It sat at one end of our site but right up against the site next to us, so trying to sit around a campfire would have been a little awkward. There wasn't any shade on the pull thru sites, though some of the long term did. There was a lot of interstate noise. There was a laundry room, but it was out of order the entire time. We didn't use the showers, but the bathrooms were clean. There was a camp store, and they did have propane and firewood. They did allow fishing(catch& release) in the lake and also offered canoes and pedal boats for use at no extra charge. There was also a nice walking trail around the lake. The campground is located on the Ohio/Indiana state line with the Kentucky border just across the Ohio River.

Not a lot to do close by but a great place to relax for the weekend. We didn't notice the highway noise.

I wasn't sure how we were going to get our 41 foot rig parallel parked in that spot, but the guy that works there was very helpful with that. The people that work at this campground are some of the friendliest campground owners/employees we have ever encountered! And the neighbors were all really friendly as well which helps a lot when the sites are so close together. We stayed here so we could visit the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter with other friends that were also camping there. The museum is only about 10 minutes away, but the ark was about 45 minutes. Both places were awesome and well worth a visit. Verizon 4G worked great here.

Not much to say about this campground. It was nice but it is primarily a snowbird one night stop over campground, not really a destination campground. Not much there, a fishing lake, scenic, easily accessible from I-275 but also located very close to it so considerable highway road noise. The campground is well run and clean, nice. Not much shade. Some of the lake front sites had shade but the pull-thru's did not. We only stayed here because we were visiting a friend entered in a car show in Lawrenceburg, IN which is right down the road from this campground. There's attractions in the Lawrenceburg area, too, like Hollywood Casino, restaurants, shopping a movie theatre complex located very near the campground, also Winter skiing at Perfect North Slopes isn't too far away and the campground is opened year 'round. We would stay here again when visiting the Lawrenceburg area for sure but we won't go out of our way to specifically camp here just to camp. There are better options. Phone reception on my Verizon phone was good. The sites were a little cramped but the lake front sites are end to end and seem a little less cramped.
