We just left after a 4 night night stay in our 40' RV towing a jeep (full hook up). Most spots had a view of the water. We stayed an extra 2 nights because we liked it so much! There were only 3 other RV's there at this time. I can't say enough great things about how terrific the owner, Trent, and his family were. He took my husband and son backroad Jeeping through the woods and took the time to help us plan out some excursion spots. This was a great base location to drive an hour to see Mt. St. Helens. Another day we rented one of their pontoon boats and took it out on Lake Mayfield which is a beautiful, peaceful lake. Caught some rainbow trout. Their restaurant isn't open right now, but they said next year it will be taken over by a local favorite Mexican restaurant, Nachos, where we happened to get takeout from and loved the food. The restaurant is right on the water. The owner said in the summers he dj's dance parties for the kids, sounds like a great family time. There were 2 different playgrounds on the property. It was very safe and had no worries to let our 8 & 4 year old run around. The weather is great right now in October, perfect time to visit this area. If you had a boat you could tie it up here and use the ramp to put it in. They had a store with food essentials and ice cream, espresso, beer, wine, ice, bait, fishing tackle, RV & boat supplies. Cell service was great. Our kids did virtual school live with Google Meet and we streamed Netflix no problem.
