Great campground. Quiet, woodsy and clean. Short drive to the entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park. Sites were fairly private and large enough for our 28’ trailer. We will be back!

Felt more like camping than RVing which we loved. After a week of boondocking, a long hot shower and water/electrical hook ups felt like a luxury! Large meadow with trails mowed through it was great for walking our dog and lounging on their adirondack chairs with a glass of wine in the evenings. We went on a nice gravel bike ride, the camp is close to a large network of gravel roads through the National Forest, definitely more to explore on our next visit! Brian and Tom were great hosts. Brian brings his designer sense to the camp with really nice touches throughout. Don't miss a visit to their gift shop, really nicely curated! We stopped in Morton, WA on our way south, super cute little town, definitely worth a stop!

Most other reviews tell about the beauty of the sites, surroundings and such, so I will concentrate on what we did not like about it. First, for $55 per night you only get water and electric, no sewer. I felt that was a little steep. Because we were trying to make our black tank last I choose to shower one evening in the bath house. The charge for the shower is one dollar for 6 minutes. Also steep. Make sure you bring quarters since there is no change machine. And it is not the nicest shower area. Concrete floor with no counter for your toiletries. I had to put mine on the trash can so I could access it. We did not meet Tom but Brian was very nice. Easy access to Mt Rainier NP. One reviewer claimed not close to stores and that is not true. The town of Elbe is 5 minutes away with gas station, restaurants etc. If you need a bigger town a little further is Morton to the south. We do not have kids that camp with us anymore, but if you have kids you may want to reconsider. There are no playgrounds, no pool, no game room. There is really nothing for kids to do. We liked that this campground was small, only 10 RV and 10 tent sites. Our site was spacious and nicely level. The picnic tables are the folding plastic ones which was nice since they can be easily cleaned unlike wood or concrete tables. There is no WiFi as of mid August 2021 and almost no cell service.

Brian and Tom were great hosts that you saw and said hi to every day- not always the case at a campground. They just starting running this last year and seem to have great plans in the future. Our site was the only full hook up but if you are ok with dry camping there is a dump station in the site area. Very small campground so enjoyed the quiet surroundings and waking up to the birds. Across a small creek they have a large field they keep a path cut in and my dog LOVED being off leash each day for his walks. Not much nearby but there are a couple local dining options and stores are about 30 minutes away. Adorable gift shop but don’t expect RV parts and such- more decor and some fun camping themed items. We look forward to returning next time we are at Mt Rainier.

Way to much money for what you get and if you cancel a month in advance it will cost you 10% of the total cost so make sure you really want to stay here. Also NO laundry, NO wifi, NO cell service and NO stores are close by. Unfortunately it has a feel of a business instead of a community.

Brian and Tom take the experience to the next level; you feel like you're staying at a boutique hotel. The property is gorgeous, sites fantastic (we used a full hook up site), obviously had no issues. The trails on the property are right across from the trailer sites, but couldn't be further away when you were walking on them; you felt like you were somewhere else. The welcome experience and store would further set this apart had we not already been welcomed so warmly. Brian and Tom are just genuinely kind. The shop is fantastic on its own (books, food, beer, anything you forgot or didn't know you wanted, they'll have). Really appreciated our stay here, very much felt like it was a privilege.

Loved the campgrounds, surrounded by beautiful trees, great customer service, they are so friendly and helpful. Across the creek they have a large meadow that you can have your dogs run leash free if you wish. I will be staying here again.

New owners have put a great deal of care and thought into every detail from a glamping camp store to a mowed path in a field for kids and dogs to romp. They helped accommodate a logistic issue that was highly appreciated, and gave me a list of dog-friendly hikes since the National Park does not allow pets on trails. These little personal touches make a stay very memorable and I wish I could have stayed longer (next time!). Minimal Verizon signal, some ATT.

The owners purchased the park about 4 months ago and want it to be a great experience for their guests. The sites aren't real large, but they are really well kept and are wooded in between to create some privacy. Our site, #8, was completely level, which was nice. The tent sites had level tent pads. I was a little concerned about the no air conditioning rule, as were staying mid-summer, but the park is really shady. We didn't have a need for the air conditioning. They have a small store that have a few items, including a few gift items. Their bathrooms and showers were spotless. They sell fire wood and propane. We had electric and water at our site and a dump on the way out. We went back and forth between no cell service and one bar with Verizon. We will definitely be back.

Even on the couple of rainy days we had, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Mt. Rainer National Park is just a few miles away and we were lucky and had a couple of beautiful days where the mountain was in full view in the park. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it! We had only 1 bar of Verizon, but were able to boost it to 3, which was sufficient. Thank you Brian and Tom for helping to make our stay so enjoyable! We will be back!

The campground is very well maintained and thought out. It’s super clean. Only downside is no laundry services you have to drive 10 mins into Ashford. 15 min easy drive into Mt Rainier NP.
