Better than privately owned as they do have standards the franchisee must comply with to keep their eligibility.I always have and always will stay in a state or federal park. There you have park rangers to maintain orderly conduct.I left early my last day because a group of drink campers were arguing, yelling obscenities, breaking glass bottles, spinning tires, while the woman left hysterical and crying. I'm sure they are back together. They were at the other end of the park but voices carry. Quiet hours ate 8a-10p. These folks didn't care. There are a lot of folks renting slips for extended stays in their campers, rvs, etc. There are areas for huge rvs and 5th wheels with water/electric hookuos near the lake and decent tent sites. One bath house recently renovated. Not sure why they renewed everything but didn't replace the toilet seats. Guess keeping a vintage feel among everything new? Lol there is one other bathroom but no showers. If you do not want to walk, you have the classic porta-potties. No matter how bad I gotta go, I will run to the actual bathroom! There are no fire rings or cooking grates except at the cabins, which do not have bathrooms in them. You will need to bring your own grill at camping parks like this one.Honestly, only reason for the three stars are the fighting drunks and porta-potties. If you don't mind that, the test if what they offer is nice. Especially, if you like boating and fishing.
Not for big rigs.

This place is so crowded with trees that getting into sites can be extremely challenging for even moderately sized RVs. #2. We could not level our 40’ class A. In fact I DO NOT recommend this campground to anyone with a class A or anything longer than 30’. #3. NO WiFi. Not a big deal for some but maybe more so for others. However, if you have a hotspot connectivity is not bad.My wife’s still working remote and she had minor issues with staying connected. #4. If you have satellite tv, don’t bother to turn it on. There’s too many trees. We were near the top of the hill. As for OTA digital TV, we had issues there too. The positive thing we observed about our stay it was quiet. We were there over Fathers Day weekend. This campground also has a large seasonal population. The laundry room is barely adequate with four washers and two dryers. Sites are close but acceptable.
