The sites are laid out a little oddly and some are fairly close together, but others were not so bad. Most had electric and water, but a few did not electric. They’ll let you know which is which when you check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the store hours vary a bit, as posted on the front door. We didn’t notice construction crew noise while we were there, as mentioned previously. The showers/bathrooms were fairly new and very clean. There is also a field out back that is a great place to walk a dog and it is surrounded on 3 sides blackberry bushes that you are welcome to pick. AT&T coverage ok, with 1 bar of LTE and speeds up to 0.3 MB/s without a booster, but throughput did fluctuate a bit, and 0.9 MB/s with a booster. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were no OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna. The nearest services are in Fork, so plan accordingly.

They told us we could pick any spot since it’s first come first serve. I would not call this place an RV park…it’s just a few grassy sites around the edge of the cafe parking lot. There was only a few spots with water and electric hookups that would fit our rig but the site we ended up in was very nice. It was large and grassy with a fire pit and picnic table. There were no sewer connections and no dump station so we had to drive 20 minutes or so to Bogachiel State Park to dump our tanks for a $5 fee. The campground bathrooms were private single stalls with a toilet, sink and shower. They were very nice and clean! The campground sold firewood for $5 a bundle. There were no laundry facilities and no dump station. They didn’t have a check in or check out time which was nice to have some flexibility with checking out. The cafe is a great location for visiting the Hoh rainforest in Olympic National Park and for visiting the park’s beaches along the coast. Overall, we had a good stay at this odd campground/cafe.My Verizon service was pretty bad here, can’t remember how many bars. The GoogleFi service was decent.

It’s true. The owner is very loosely goosey about when the cafe opened — but that didn’t bother us. The site was pretty spacious. We picked the one we wanted when we got there. The cafe was busy during the day so cars came and went and some sort of fan ran but again, that didn’t bother us. We used the showers. Clean enough. Plenty of hot water. Our site was flat enough side to side that we needed no leveling. Only draw back was they needed a lot for space for refuse. The rainforest is really cool.

I took my first real non-rv shower in over 3 weeks! It's pretty busy while the cafe is open but quiet when the cafe is closed. I liked being able to book online. We stayed during the week and didn't have neighbors to our right or left so that helped with our experience :-)

I give it four stars for what it is- a few spots on the side of the road near the Hoh rainforest. Electric and water and not too many other campers. Clean bathrooms. Nice verizon LTE. If you just need a place to hookup near the park, then this will do fine. Nothing more, nothing less.

I had called a few days prior and they said i could get a first come, first serve site and pay the next day. So I parked my camper in a spot and left a note for them that id be back after exploring the national park. Upon returning, there were two other campsites set up but still no owner. I spoke to one group of people and they said i had missed the owner, but im sure where i was parked was fine. I plugged into the spot and stayed the night. The following morning, she store still was not open and I assumed the owner was still asleep. I left my payment on the windshield of the owners car since there was nowhere else to leave it.Other than lack of owners presence, the site was alright. There were relatively clean bathrooms and the shower looked new. The spots werent entirely level and the gravel parking lot of the store had many pot holes to be wary about. No service on at&t but about 2 miles down the road i got 4 bars at a road turnout. The location to Hoh national park and Forks, WA was very convenient and the reason for my stay. There were a surprising amount of cars driving by but nothing too bothersome. Not sure id stay here again unless i got to speak to the owner prior to. I think they should at least have a payment drop box.

We were not able to get good cell coverage at nearby Bogachiel State Park or the Hoh National Park Campground, and needed to plug in for a couple of days, so we ended up here. The campground was pretty quiet during our stay in mid August, and we only had a neighbor for a couple of nights. The campground only offers water and electric, and we dumped over at Bogachiel for $5. There were newer bathrooms and showers, and a cafe out front with friendly staff. The campground is very close to the road leading into the park, so we did hear some road noise, but it did not bother us. From the campground it is only 20 minutes to the Hoh Rainforest, 20 minutes to Ruby Beach, and 20 minutes to Forks. The campsites are pretty spacious and can fit any size rig, and offer full sun, or partially shaded.
