We booked a space at Cougar RV park for two nights. We pulled in and I swear we heard banjos playing. It was bad. There are people permanently living there. We said, “oh hell no” as we were driving through and left. We didn’t even take time to take photos. Fortunately there was a great spot to stay next door at the Lone Fir. The have a little bar and restaurant.

Lots of people living here permanently. There was a barking dog that kept us awake all night long. Luckily we were in an area that was away from everyone so we got to enjoy our stay. There wasn’t any grass. Just dirt and holly bushes. That was hard with kids but we made the best of it.
