Site is extremely unlevel and very narrow if you have slides. This specific site is supposed to accommodate up to 50’ yet it’s only 30 amp power. They stated they have Wi-Fi and cable but it’s only on certain rows and ours does not have either one. Not really worth the price. The views are beautiful but we will be looking for another site for the next few months. It is close to Castle Rock so restaurants and stores are nice to have nearby.

We found open spots at this KOA.The photos on the KOA site are a bit misleading. The KOA photos show a lush green campground with lots of trees and the grass is green and manicured. What we found was a campground where many, maybe even most, of the trees at the campsites have been cut off at about waist height, leaving these bleaching tree trunks surrounding some sites. There is a lot of grass cover on most non-parking areas, but the season has been dry and they have chosen not to irrigate, so the grass has gone yellow and dry.The office is also the camp store. We had no issue checking in and the staff we encountered were all very friendly. The campground isn’t littered with trash and they staff do keep thing tidy, in spite of the lack of landscaping care.Quite a few long term renters are on site. Their section of the park appears greener and more lush; maybe they are taking care of it?Restrooms and showers were clean and kept up. That is always a defining factor for a campground. The laundry room was also well kept. However of 4 washers, 2 were out of order. All 4 dryers seemed to be functioning. Wash cost during my visit was reasonable. Dryers run for 45 minutes and you’ll need at least two cycles to get your clothing dry.Camp store in the office is small, only has a few things stocked and the prices are high. Castle Rock isn’t far away, so provision there. There were no day time or night time activities, which I’ve found as typical for KOAs. The bouncy pad for kids was deflated and not offered during our stay. The playground was in decent shape, but the equipment was the type you would buy at Costco or Sears and put in your own back yard.Bring your own Internet, the WiFi at the park is atrocious. Not a bad stay, but not a destination in and of itself. It had what I needed, a place to park and full hookups.

The deck on our site has burnt boards. The good: the lady checking us in was very nice! The sites were fairly level. I’ll probably stay up on white pass next time and not push this far.

Site was fairly steep, not well leveled. Office was closed before stated time. Signage indicated a refusal to comply with public health standards to wear a mask.

I also called tuesday and friday confirming said reservation We drove almost 2 hours to get there for my husband to start work monday. We get there and they tell us they dont have our reservations. No apologies. No help on finding a different place. Nothing. Oh, and they only had maybe 10 rv's in the whole park with several spots open... including the spot the owner told me we would be parking at.
