Overall, we really like this park and will stay here again.

This is a wonderful place - very clean and great RV stops with hedges - a lot of work to maintain. Restrooms are separate rooms with shower, toilette and sink. Everything is very clean, Front desk is friendly and professional. This is sure a recommendation!WiFi works well - don't know the cell coverage

We were very surprised at how pretty this park is with the lake in the middle and so much greenery. They do pack A LOT of RVs in here though and that may be the only downside. However it was very quiet the one night we were there. Our spot, 242, backed up to the lake, was large with a picnic table. Not a lot of trees on our spot for privacy but we were only there one night so no worries. This was the only park where we had cable TV hookup so we got to try that out. Easy access and close to restaurants. Being Oct we called and booked one day ahead and got a nice spot.

The entire park had hiking trails that allowed you to roam through the thick trees. Although people were definitely living there the park was clean and well kept. We didn't have any outside noise pollution (i.e. highway noise, trains, etc) and the laundry room was open 24 hours, which is always nice. You're only about 25 minutes from Seattle and the internet was decent enough for my husband and I to both work and stream TV at night. I would absolutely stay here again!

Really nice owners and amenities. We actually liked that campfires aren't allowed, as we find the smoke bothersome when sites are close together. Close to good shopping, including REI and Eddie Bauer.

Great location with a Safeway right across the street and many restaurants within 5 minutes. Great little Taco Truck right down the road. The Park is a mile off 405 which makes it very convenient to get to. As previous reviews have commented the spots are a little tight but hedge and other landscape separate the sites. I had an initial electrical issue at the pole and dog poop from a previous tenant, but they came right out and corrected. This is considered a wildlife refuge, so the pond is full of ducks and geese who wonder around the campgrounds leaving presents everywhere. In my opinion this is a big issue, but I think ownership seems oblivious to it. I understand you cannot remove them, but the park does little in attempting to keep the park clean and sanitary. They do have a truck that goes through the park and washes off the main road of poop but not the sites. When we got to our site it was full of duck droppings. I got up the next morning and washed and scrubbed my site of the mess so we and our dogs would not be tracking it back into our RV. I kept my spot clean for the 2 weeks we were there because the ducks would daily come thru our site. The Park needs some program to power wash site between guests. We did not see this happen during our stay at the park. There is no cleanup of site other than what the guest do themselves. This is the first park of this size that I have seen without a park host program. The Park needs a park host program to have a power washer mounted on a golf cart that will clean each site of duck poop before guest arrive. Here is what CDC says about duck and geese droppings:” Many germs that might be found in bird droppings can infect humans. Duck and goose droppings, in particular, might contain germs such as E. coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter, or Cryptosporidium”. This is a serious matter and not to mention gross that the park needs to take a more pro-active approach. This Park accepts NO Packages, for us who travel for extended time this was inconvenient. (Amazon drop at Safeway) This is probably the 1st park I have stayed in that had this rule. When I asked their basic response was it ‘was too inconvenient for the park’. Today’s RV’ing has changed, and this is a definite negative. The fenced dog run is overrun with weeds and is unusable due to lack of attention. There is a playground but no pool. There are residential style plastic trash cans scattered through out park that are emptied in the morning but are full by noon and overflowing. Not sure why they don’t use dumpsters. We all know RV park pricing has gone up during Covid, and I don’t believe I am saying this, but this park’s pricing structure is too low. If they went up $5-10 a night, then they could hire folks to take care of the park better or develop a camp host program where their main purpose is to keep the park clean and keep the duck poop to a minimum and better under control. I do want to repeat this is a nice park and if were ever in the area again we would consider staying here. But ownership needs to improve their game because this park does have great potential if they did a better job of managing the cleanliness and sanitation.

I saw plenty of Class A coaches with their front off the ground because of the slope. It is also true the non-water sites are much closer together. The photo I am going to post is from site 71 and was much wider, longer and more level than site 209. I will also mention it appears there are many FT guests, because I saw several wood staircases on 5th wheels, residential outdoor patio setups and vehicles that you cannot flat tow or pull a 5th wheel with parked in the lots (ex. BMW, Tesla, Lotus, etc). The office staff were kind and efficient. Safeway is within walking distance. Access to/from the park from the freeway is uncomplicated. I would certainly stair here again and understand why folks would opt to make it a permanent home when working in Seattle.

We were not on the pond, but backed up to a green space/playground, which was noisy on weekends. Nice, safe neighborhood with plenty of service and restaurant options nearby. Also close to biking/hiking trails. Laundry was small and clean but cheap. Lots of Canadian Geese call this place home so check bottom of shoes after being in the grassy areas. (Staff cleans off the streets with power washer.) This spot was pricey for a 2-week stay but on par with other, less attractive options in the area. Basic cable TV was offered but pretty much unwatchable at our site. AT&T was excellent and Verizon was useable. Campground wi-fi was also adequate for basics. Would definitely stay again since we're only a few minutes away from family here.

The trails around the property were so lovely to walk the pups each day and my son loved the park. Laundry was great and cheap. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The area is awesome to explore north of Seattle. Grocery store and restaurants across the street. The one downside for us was we we weren’t allowed to use our little pop-up fence to container our toddler. It wasn’t safe/relaxing being next to the water with him not contained so we had to stay inside our rig more than we wanted as the weather outside was lovely.

I wish they had a website with at least a map of the camp sites. Bathrooms were clean, though we didn't use the showers. Seemed to be mostly full-timers here. Our spot was next to the lake and by the lake fountain and was indeed quite pleasant. Tall shrubs separated us from our neighbors. We arrived just after dark, and our best tip for you is to watch out for the duck poop! Most of the sites looked to be angled back-in sites. We live in the area and were here for a test camp in our new trailer, so we didn't stay more than one night, but we'd consider it as a long stay possibility when we need to vacate our house for an upcoming remodel.Another tip: The iPhone map app sent us through smaller roads to get here, which was completely unnecessary. Don't let your nav system take you via SR-522, take I-405 straight to SR-525.Just a couple of blocks away is Bothell Country Village, which is a super-cute and quaint shopping area, good for kids too.

The only other down side: when we were there during September 2015, spiders were quick to string up their webs around the campground, so just watch where you stick your hand when working on your rig! This is a lovely campground, though, and we'd definitely stay here again.

They said our custom conversion trailer was not up to their standards and we wouldn't be allowed in again. I guess that bodes well for the review if you're looking for a somewhat exclusive park. Bad if you're looking for something more laid back. I'm giving only 3 stars because I've never been turned away from a park before. Otherwise I'd give it 4. We stayed here in the middle of January. Even in the winter the park was probably at 85% capacity. Most of the RV's looked like full timers with license plates from states around the US. Still, we had our choice of a few spots. We got a nice waterfront site. It was small but enclosed with an evergreen hedge. Positives;- quiet for a packed campground in an urban area- charming, calming, lakeside sites - very pet friendly- full services and full hook-ups- very well maintained. - neighbors were all very friendly. not sure about the management. Negatives; - expensive- too exclusive? - not all sites are on the water and some aren't very level.- crowded. they really pack them in

It is a bit expensive, yes, but for us it offers a reasonable place to stay near the city with our dogs. Although it is densely packed with sites, it sits in a forested "bowl" that blocks city noise and provides a soothing green surround. The surrounding hill offers several (short) dog walk options too. For a park close to an urban center, this is a great option.

  • Nicest park in the area, but not all the sites are good.

If you go, make sure to ask for a site on the lake close to the office -- they have the most trees and grass. There's laundry (but only a few machines so be prepared to wait), but they're dog friendly and generally it's peaceful.

Lake Pleasant is an expensive campground that I might consider worth the money if you were guaranteed a lake view spot, but they won't guarantee it. I think they should charge less for the sites that aren't on the lake.
