Good campground with friendly owners. Unfortunately we had to take a site that was down in the field and not one of the nicer ones in the trees. We only had water and electric and the sites were squeezed right next to each other. There is a honey wagon to pump out your tanks, but it’s $20. WiFi costs extra too, but it’s a good signal.

We especially enjoyed exploring around the river and the dog park on-site! The sites are large, flat and well spaced from neighbors to give some privacy and allow you to enjoy the time in the woods. The grounds are well maintained and the owners, Shelley-Ann & Alan, are very friendly! Nearby towns offer plenty to do and the hikes we took were great! We loved it here so much we’ve already booked next years stay!

This has been a great campground. Very family friendly with lots of sites right on the Battenkill River. Verizon cell signal is very reliable and they have WIFI available for purchase. Clean bath houses and very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

It almost feels like a national park, with the sites well placed, lots of mature trees, and of course the beautiful Battenkill river. We scored the best site, #5, right on the river to watch the fish jump and birds feed. The Battenkill is a famous fly fishing river and I enjoyed watching the fishermen. The campground is also in a valley so the Green Mountains rise up in all directions. We had water (good tasting) and electric at our site but no sewer. The free wifi worked well at our site. There's a little store called the Sugar Shack that is right across the bridge from the campground. They have an interesting Norman Rockwell exhibit as well as regional food products. We enjoyed the donuts and the maple creemees. There is so much to do in this area to include hiking, biking, kayaking, shopping, scenic drives, museums and more. I can't imaging a better place to camp to enjoy this area.

It was extremely easy to navigate the campground. Lots of amenities, nice playground, fenced in dog park, game room, store, and washer/dryer. Only only complaint we had was that the game room and washer and dryer closed at 7:00, inconvenient for us since we are generally out of the camper from breakfast until dinner.

  • Very nice, small and quiet campground.

Site 13 is great for tent camping - it’s right on the water. Overall a nice, simple campground.

We were lucky enough to drive in and snag a site in the woods the first night, and stayed a second night right on the river. Very sweet and helpful people running the show here. Some mud, but nothing to dampen your spirits. It's the woods, after all. Lovely laundry room in the barn. The town of Manchester is right down the road with great food (Ye Olde Tavern) , a three story book store (Northshire Books) and then...... ORVIS. And the American Museum of Fly Fishing!
