The water pressure at our site was only about 10PSI but never had an issue other than slightly less pressure than optimal for a shower. The sites are all grass and pretty level. Gravel driveway to access each site and exit from the campgrounds. Follow directions on website for vehicle length restrictions (the roads in and out can be tight). Access to the creeper trail for bike riding was great and the trail was great for a casual (almost entirely downhill) ride to Damascus. It takes about three hours for the one way trip if you coast mostly and stop only for a few pictures. The campground was very dark at night (something we liked a lot) and great for stargazing. No WiFi at the campsites (near the office there is free WiFi (fast enough for email and streaming but not screaming fast). NO cellphone coverage anywhere around the campground that we found (we did not have cell coverage for miles around the campground). About 30 drive to Damascus and about the same in the opposite direction to Grayson Highlans State Patk. Overall we would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

It’s a small campground with 10 RV and tent sites located right across the street from the Virginia Creeper Rail Trail. The overall area is beautiful. No problem with access in our 25’ LTV RV. A gravel road leads to grassy sites that are not difficult to level. Water and electric hookups at each site with a dump station located close by. No cable/satellite TV. Only PBS over the air. Each site has a fire pit and firewood is available at the main office. Neighboring sites are nicely spaced apart. The owners are exceptionally friendly and are continually working to update the campground. We have AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon - there was zero cell coverage. Wi-Fi was available at the main office, but slow. At the site, Wi-Fi was pretty much unusable. We will return to stay here again!

  • Excellent Campground with very kind and considerate hosts.

Awesome Campground, Beautiful Views, Amazingly creative bathrooms designed by campground John, the campground host. John and Beverly are the best campground hosts you could ask for. Super kind, accommodating and over the top hospitable. Will be back with the family again. Thanks for a great experience! Kids absolutely loved it.
