This place is such a gem! Excellent trout fishing and located next to a Wildlife Management Area. Everyone is friendly and the owners are super accommodating and very helpful. Nice full hookup campsites as well. Bathrooms were very clean!
Horrible customer service. No cell service

ZERO CELL SERVICE. We arrived in Saturday February 26, 2022, for at least a month for my husbands job, and immediately didn’t get a great vibe. The “campground” was nothing but stationary old, like really old, campers with buildings and decks built around them that weren’t even occupied. We were directed to an open spot and began setting up. There was only ONE other newer model camper with an occupant. After getting everything set up we quickly realized there was ZERO cell phone service which made me a little nervous being we were 20 minutes from civilization, which is also where we picked service back up, if something was to go wrong. There was WIFI service which was spotty at best and not reliable to call out on and didn’t stay connected to your phone so no calls or messages came in on it either. Sunday we got up and went to town and bought a prepaid Verizon phone to see if it got any service, none. With my husband driving over an hour to work and myself and daughter staying at the Rv during the day, safety was a concern with no cell service. We found another campground to which we planned to move to on Tuesday morning. I spoke with Kevin at Rainbow and explained the situation and asked for a refund since we paid for the entire month but only stayed 3 days, even offering to pay for a full week, to which he denied. When booking is signed no paperwork or contract. He took my payment over the phone as they are not on site during this time. I called back Wednesday, again asking for a refund since we were there THREE days out of a month. He informed me that it was my place to ask him about cell service. If a young woman told me her and her daughter would be staying on site(because I did tell him this before booking), and I knew there was no service, I would disclose this upfront. This is poor customer service, not to mention dangerous.
