Wonderfully laid out - our site was a corner site adjacent two large fields. Very private. ATT cell signal strong. Couldn’t get WiFi though. One of the nicest campgrounds we’ve stayed at. Would highly recommend!

We used this as a safe overnight stop. Called ahead and booked a pull thru. She was not sure if we would fit connected 60ft but we did. We pulled in late and she left wood with our name on it at check in. AT&T tested at over 50MB per sec. Verizon was dismal 4MB at best.
Very nice KOA.

Site spacing is OK, close but not on top of each other. Staff is very helpful with info on local activities. Typical high rates consistent with KOA's.

Beautiful campground. Laid out around a large greenspace. None of the sites are crammed. Spacious, beautiful and friendly. Out in the country. Short distance to Luray.

It is located in the country and there is a cow farm right next door. They visited us often and at times, especially at night, the aroma was pretty strong. Being in the country, however, it is quiet. The park has pretty landscaping and lots of mature trees. There are views of the mountains but not from all sites. In general, the sites are long and graveled with a small bit of space between them. Due to narrow interior roads, some are tricky to get into with larger RVs. A few sites slope up to the flat part on top and would only work for smaller units. There are also some pull thru, end to end sites which have more privacy. Each site has a concrete patio with two adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and picnic table. All of the outdoor furniture is clean and in like-new condition. We had Directv coverage in our site as the line of site was between two trees. Verizon coverage 4g and 2 bars. The park gets two main dings. The WII FI is painfully slow, and we gave up on it. For the price paid, the WII FI should be screaming fast and reliable. Also, the park is down a narrow-ish road to a narrow entrance. We had to be very careful to avoid obstacles and tree limbs. Also, there is a rather steep hill up to the campground. It appears to be wide enough for one RV at a time. I'm not sure who wins in a game of chicken!

Great Wi-fi, terrific staff! Good cell phone service! There is a Wallmart, CVS pharmacy, and lots of local restaurants only a few miles away.

We were here midweek right after Memorial Day, and the campground was fairly empty. Not typical of KOAs in that there aren't a lot of amenities and activities here; there are two pools, a small playground, and an outdoor ping pong table, but no planned activities and no camp store. Beautifully landscaped, friendly staff, bathhouses nice and super clean. All of the sites are situated around a big central field. We sprung for one of the deluxe patio sites directly on the field. In retrospect, we would have saved a few dollars and gotten a regular site. The patio sites are very nice, but kind of a pain to get in and out of. Easy drive to the Shenandoah NP entrance.

Very friendly staff, good water and power, Wi-Fi a little weak at the far end of park but ok, great setting and quiet. Easy to find. GREAT DOG park. Some people may want more for what is charged, but the well taken care of park and the quiet was worth it to us.
