Let’s start with the reservation…taken by a very friendly staff member, we were requesting a site for 2 nights, only needing electric, took credit card info but said it wouldn’t be charged until we arrived.Upon arrival, completed reservation/check-in… was escorted to our site (2 were open and she wanted to know our preference) … backed in, hooked up and settled in for the night… About the campground… politely said, it is rustic, most of the sites were occupied by “permanent” renters with the 4 advertised pull thru's left open for that purpose… the bath house (male side) consisted of a single toilet, sink and shower stall, all of which were clean and acceptable (windowsills however needed a good vacuuming)… the store boasts Hunt Brothers pizza and wings, did not try them, but heard one of the permanent campers tell someone, he just didn’t want to cook that night, so must be ok as he was carrying a pizza box back to his camper. They also have cabins for rent, but did not check them out.The campground is not a show place or a destination (keep in mind, this was in the off-season), but a good overnight stop probably… only about an hour away from Natural Bridge or Falling Springs Falls and very close to Douthat State park…..be sure to check out their website for more info
