Sites are well spaced, bath house is super nice, salt water pool is a bonus! The hillside at the park entrance is a great space for Dark Sky viewing, something near to impossible anywhere else.Decent Wifi throughout the park.

The hill going into the park is quite steep so be prepared. Once up on the park plateau, the views are great. The sites were nice and all well-kept grass. The pool was nice and so was the staff. They gave us advice on local things to do and good restaurants in Stowe. Stowe, VT is a must see and I encourage you to spend as much time as you can there. We took our bikes on the Stowe bike path which is known globally as one of the best. It was clean and the locals were quite pleasant. If you go to Smuggler's Notch, be prepared to bring your mirrors in because the road gets tight, steep, and narrow.

None of the information that surprised us was:• available on their website;• shared verbally (even when relevant questions were asked, such as confirming that electric usage was included in the site cost); nor was• the information included when they sent us our reservation confirmation. Note: Our Verizon and AT&T data and cell coverage was weak at times and sometimes non-existent. AT&T’s data coverage was typically a little better, when Verizon’s coverage was weak or non-existent.

As private campgrounds go, this one was pretty good. We had a lot of space between us and our neighbors. A few more trees would have been nice, but overall, we were happy with our site. Some of the sites in other loops had less space, but none were particularly terrible. Compared to a lot of the commercial parks we've stayed at, this one was really pretty decent. We loved the location. It was about 25 minutes north of Stowe, and one hour east of Burlington, right in the middle of one of the most scenic areas of Vermont. There are definitely a limited number of conveniences in the area, but that's just Vermont. Everything we really needed, we could find. If you're looking to stay in a lovely location in a particularly beautiful state, this is a great choice.Other things worth noting: We did have to do a bit of work to get level, and some sites were even less level than ours, but again, we've seen much worse. Wifi was not available at the campsites, but our Verizon hotspot worked well. This was especially impressive since there were large areas of Vermont that we drove through which had no cell coverage at all. We also appreciated that they offered recycling. All in all, we were very happy with this place and would definitely stay here again.

Hard packed gravel roads & sites, sites level and spacious, facilities very clean including pool. Only issue was the showers are coin operated. Beautiful valley views. We did have minor issues with the 50A power when our residential fridge & microwave both went out. No breaker issues, I am furthest from any knowledge of electricity, but I did get sufficient power back by starting the bus again, basically maybe a reboot of the rig's system. This is a majority seasonal residents park.

Our favorite sites are #2, #4, and #5. The campground is still fairlly new, only in their 5th year I believe. Located in the college town of Johnson, VT, the town offers several restaurants, access to the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, hiking trails, (the Long Trail passes through town) and more. The campground is clean and modern, with a pool, a well stocked store, two bath houses, one with laundry. A pavillion is planned for next season (2017 ?). There are seasonal sites here as well, and the seasonal campers make passers through feel welcomed. The view of the mountains is amazing. The owners are easy to work with. We would be seasonal here if it were a little closer to our business in NH. Full hookups, plus several tenting sites.
