Great water views on this property and a rocky area for swimming access. Apple and pear trees everywhere and dog friendly. Great location to access the Island Line Rail to Trail and close to the ferry. We would love to return next year. If your site is close to the water, you can here a low rumble from the ferry but not troublesome.

We decided to stay 9 nights on a hunch. The hunch paid off! Some sites are shaded, some are open. Some provide lots of space, some are close together. All are on grass. You won't find much info on their website. The charming owners choose to decide what sites they will rent so it was about 1/2 occupied in the middle of summer. There is no map of the sites, but if you call in advance and explain what you are looking for, chances are they will abide. Spectacular sunsets and a small dock to put in small rooftop boats. We took the ferry from Plattsburgh NY to the Island and the RV park is literally a half mile away from the ferry landing. The island itself is equally charming and about as opposite a big city as you can get. If you are looking for a cookie cutter park, this ain't it. If you want to relax, this is your baby. Which comes to mind, no kids.

This is a no frills park, with no pool and sites are ungraveled. The restrooms are a little rugged, with quarter showers that need a little more privacy. However, it’s worth it to experience the islands and Burlington from a serene and quiet campground!
