We camped here with friends over the Columbus Day weekend to do some leaf peeping. The campground is small for a KOA. The sites are close together, typical for a KOA. About 50% of the sites are taken by seasonal campers. But that did not detract from the campground like it does in other places. If you can score a campsite by the stream, lucky you. We spent a few enjoyable evenings watching the water flow by on our friends campsite. The campground is Big Rig friendly, as are the staff.Be sure to follow the KOA website directions for coming to the campground, NOT your GPS. You will get into trouble. Once at the campground, the roads are gravel and the sites are gravel and grass. Trees are abundant. Everyone has a picnic table and fire ring.Campground WiFi was great when it worked, but went out often enough that we resorted to the Verizon Hotspot (2 bars of 4G). OTA TV was non-existent. No cable. Laundry room worked well. There is a big TV in the game room if you need a TV fix. Power was very good. There is no sewer due to the campground's proximity to the stream. There is a dump station, or the staff can pump you out. Propane is available. This location served as a great point from which to enjoy the western Catskills. Find the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society's property down the road (http://doas.us/) and take a hike. The view is worth it. Or do the Cooperstown Winery Trail.
