The lady who is one of the owners was wonderful and she refunded my money for two days and she was very graceful about it. Many of the campers are permanently there but are very friendly. I was invited to a get together (apparently a drinking party) which I declined due to 1. I don’t drink and 2. Covid19. I had electric and water with a dumping station nearby. I was there just prior to the 4th of July but I would return on a non holiday week . The bathhouse was very clean and frequently sanitized

  • Average experience but we felt out of place

We checked in on a Thursday and were the only non permanent people there. While we were unhitching a couple of the locals sat on their porches watching us. Aside, from the uneasiness the amenities are nice. Playground is fenced in and the paddle boats are free to use. Very fast WiFi but zero signal strength for ATT and Verizon.

  • Old, rundown, and vast majority of campers were permanent.

The park is very rundown. The sewer hook-ups (I checked out many) were simply broken pipe ends barely sticking out of the ground. I had to use rocks and firewood to keep my hose in place. If they have rules about clutter, junk, and trailers in disrepair they don't enforce them. It felt more like a refugee camp then a campsite.

  • Lots of space; needs some maintenance

The sites are large and widely spaced out. There is a lot of room to maneuver the rig, compared to other places we've been. Our expeience was good but, not great. It's sort of a typical older campground that could use some sprucing up and a bit of maintenance on the buildings, utility infrastructure and grounds. There was a pool, a small mini-golf area, and a nice playground for kids. The restrooms and showers were clean. The showers cost $0.25 for 6 minutes of hot water, so bring a few quarters; cold showers are free.
