Nice CG in the heart of Capitol Reef country. Sites are close together, there's road noise, but no worries. We slept well, keeping active sightseeing & hiking. Showers are very clean, grounds in great shape, neighbors were quiet.

This is one of the best maintained private campgrounds I’ve stayed in. Nice grass areas for me to walk my dogs plus a nice grassed dog run. Great access to Capitol Reef NP. Staff were very helpful. Sites that back out to the pasture are the most private and quiet. Excellent Verizon service.

Noise from the highways not an issue, esp. at night.Cons: late night check in policy - we had an empty space next to us until about 9:30PM when an RV pulled in and proceeded to slam doors, makes lots of noise and keep a bright outside light on shining into our rig while they set up. They left at 11PM and then came back at MIDNIGHT and proceeded again to make noise and light up their spot until about 2AM - yes, that is 2AM the middle of the night. The park can’t do anything about rude and inconsiderate people, but maybe the late night/after dark check in policy needs some re-thinking. Not sure whether I would revisit this RV park if you can’t count on a peaceful night’s sleep.

It is a well kept CG. Sites and roads a gravel but in good shape. Electric pedestal, water and sewer in like new shape. in April when I was there it was full. I had called to try and add a day or two and they could not accommodate it. Good customer service though. Very efficient and I enjoyed the time there. Bathrooms and shower are seemingly new and kept clean. Good cell service for Verizon and ATT. They include wifi in the rate. I did use it a bit and it seemed quirky. When it worked it worked well and you could stream. Then at times it would not work at all and the connection would say No Internet. Two downsides (if you can even call them downsides) were the site was not very level but I could level my 37' motorhome after some manual effort. The other is it is right across from a gas station that leaves the sign on all night. It didn't bother me but if you wanted to do some star gazing it is not as dark as one would hope for in the middle of no where Utah.

Our site was next to the road but at night the road was quiet enough that it didn’t bother us. There’s a nice grassy area that kids can run around in and a fenced in dog run. Next to the RV park there are horses that you may see. We saw some cute ducks walking across our site. The wifi was decent and there was cell service at the campground. They do sell propane but it was hard to get a hold of anyone to help with that.

Good cell signal here, nice showers (individual shower rooms with a 7 minute timer and a 5 minute “cool off” period to encourage quick showers since there are only three) and the location is great for visiting the park. No privacy between sites, but it’s not jam packed in either. Would definitely stay here again.

Tracy is doing a great job of keeping the park clean and well cared for. He is willing to help as he can, when you need assistance with maintenance or just need some advice. The park has lots of green grass at almost every site and nice trees to provide shade. One previous review complained of watering being excessive but we saw absolutely no evidence of this. Tracy does water a lot but he appears to take a great deal of effort to water in areas that are not being actively used by patrons. The park is easily negotiated and there is nice space between each site. Wifi is not perfect but is pretty good and there are 20 channels available through cable hook up. The only negative is the proximity to the highway which does allow for some noise but it doesn’t seem to be overbearing. We highly recommend Wonderland RV Park when you are in the Capitol Reef National Park area of Utah. We did not use the laundry, showers or restrooms on site but they appeared clean, convenient and well kept.

Lots of trees with a meadow behind the park. Good view of the mountains in the distance. Sites have a little separation with a small stretch of grass and trees. Our pull through site was long and somewhat level but narrow with trees. We had to position carefully to get our slides out and be able to open the bay doors. The WII FI either worked a little or not at all – mostly not at all. Verizon 1x so it was useless. Directv satellite worked but had to have the MH in the right position to avoid trees. The park is right by the road so there is traffic noise during the day but it quiets down at night. Closest RV park to Capital Reef. Be prepared to be off grid while you are visiting!

Stayed here for 1 night so we could recharge our batteries, dump the tanks, access WiFi, shower, and do laundry. The park is WELL maintained. Sites are decently spaced and level. WiFi was 4/5 speed and would be even better but the park filled up quick as the day went on. Laundry was affordable and worked well. The hot shower was perfect minus the hairs left over from a local Sasquatch who showered right before me and the shower curtain smelled like B.O.

Interior roads are smooth road base - even after a day of rain and snow the mud was nearly non-existent. All sites are a decent size with the most beautiful, lush green grass all around. Lovely trees that gave us shade but didn't block our satellite - score!50 amp FHUs, everything worked well with easy location for smooth hookups. Site was level with views of the Boulder Mountains. Park WiFi worked well all hours.Owners and their family maintain a super clean park. They were cutting back a branch to accommodate the slides on a 5er when we arrived - and were happy to do it :-)Cute cabins and sheep camp wagon, plus nice tent sites with wind block fences along the back for every kind of traveler. Although we were backed up to the highway there was minimal noise, even being at the intersection of two main routes. Load up on groceries before you come, Torrey has no market. A few good eateries in town, you won't starve. We will definitely stay here in the future.

The surrounding landscape is simply stunning, with views of snow capped mountains, lush, open fields with cows & horses and the entrance to Scenic Byway 12 literally right at your doorstep (take the drive over to Boulder and visit the state park!).Torrey is very remote and services in town are minimal (and expensive). Groceries & alcohol are 30 minutes west in the town of Loa. The park offers free internet but cell service is very sketchy. The park is well maintained but, unfortunately, half the sites back right up to the highway (20' behind you with no visual barrier). It can be noisy.

Each space has a nice grassy area with a shade tree. There is a lot of farm acreage surrounding the park and it has a beautiful view of Boulder Mountain. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The owners are a young couple and work 24/7 to keep the place looking nice. No firepits, but you can borrow a propane fireplace for your space at no cost and just pay for the propane (on-site) that you have used. It is 10 miles from Capitol Reef. It also is located at the intersection with Hwy 12, one of the most beautiful highways in the country. From here you have access to Fish Lake, (Richfield [Walmart, Home Depot]), Boulder, Lower Bowens Lake, Burr Trail, Escalante and Hell's Backbone. The only negative is that it is near the highway and the back up sites get some noise. Ask for a pull-thru and you will be fine. Loved this place, it was special, we will be back.

The owner lives on site, and is out cleaning it every day, all day. Full hookups, nice wide site pads, pull throughs and large lawn areas next to each site.Staying in RV parks isn't really our thing, but if we returned to Capitol Reef we would stay here again.

Though it is right at the intersection of two main roads, it seemed quiet in the evening and night. The wifi was great, but the park wasn't full. The best part was that the apples were ripe and we were invited to pick some! They were delicious.
