Nice CG in the heart of Capitol Reef country. Sites are close together, there's road noise, but no worries. We slept well, keeping active sightseeing & hiking. Showers are very clean, grounds in great shape, neighbors were quiet.

This is one of the best maintained private campgrounds I’ve stayed in. Nice grass areas for me to walk my dogs plus a nice grassed dog run. Great access to Capitol Reef NP. Staff were very helpful. Sites that back out to the pasture are the most private and quiet. Excellent Verizon service.

I had called to try and add a day or two and they could not accommodate it. Good customer service though. Very efficient and I enjoyed the time there. Bathrooms and shower are seemingly new and kept clean. Good cell service for Verizon and ATT. They include wifi in the rate. I did use it a bit and it seemed quirky. When it worked it worked well and you could stream. Then at times it would not work at all and the connection would say No Internet. Two downsides (if you can even call them downsides) were the site was not very level but I could level my 37' motorhome after some manual effort. The other is it is right across from a gas station that leaves the sign on all night. It didn't bother me but if you wanted to do some star gazing it is not as dark as one would hope for in the middle of no where Utah.

Good cell signal here, nice showers (individual shower rooms with a 7 minute timer and a 5 minute “cool off” period to encourage quick showers since there are only three) and the location is great for visiting the park. No privacy between sites, but it’s not jam packed in either. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a nice park overall. Our site was level and backed up to the horse pasture. There are only a few water/electric sites, but they are the most private and back up to a field with cows and bison. It’s so relaxing and peaceful. I will stay here whenever possible!

Close to Capitol Reef NP. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great. Good dog park for our pet.

We are car campers so don’t go to RV parks often. However this was a very nice and convenient to Capitol Reef. Great showers, laundry facilities and clean toilets. Grass and trees. One complaint the strong cow smell as there was a cow pasture right next to our site. Also very windy.

Very nice RV park. Very quiet and the bathroom are excellent. Got 3 bars of AT&T and was close to Capitol Reef. Great views right from the site. We sat in our chairs and could see the Milky Way. See picture. Also a friendly horse stopped by to say hello. Would definitely stay again.

We are traveling thru the area and this was a well maintained campground. Had lots of green grass and trees which is rare in this area. Our dog just loved lying in the grass. One the best we have stayed at.

Two gentlemen I spoke to book their stays a year in advance. If you are in this part of Utah, I dont know why you would stay anywhere else

Great small park near Capitol Reef. Huge spaces with nice grass. Great WiFi, could stream on multiple devices. Can’t wait to go back.

Office lady was not very friendly but everything else was fine. Site was gravel and not very level. Location was our main reason to stay and it was 10-15 min from Capitol Reef. WiFi was awful there. Had a nice view. Right off the road but not loud.

Tracy is doing a great job of keeping the park clean and well cared for. He is willing to help as he can, when you need assistance with maintenance or just need some advice. The park has lots of green grass at almost every site and nice trees to provide shade. One previous review complained of watering being excessive but we saw absolutely no evidence of this. Tracy does water a lot but he appears to take a great deal of effort to water in areas that are not being actively used by patrons. The park is easily negotiated and there is nice space between each site. Wifi is not perfect but is pretty good and there are 20 channels available through cable hook up. The only negative is the proximity to the highway which does allow for some noise but it doesn’t seem to be overbearing. We highly recommend Wonderland RV Park when you are in the Capitol Reef National Park area of Utah. We did not use the laundry, showers or restrooms on site but they appeared clean, convenient and well kept.

I was in a pull thru location and all services worked as expected. The WiFi was exceptional. The grass was watered frequently but they made sure not to water any of our belongings. Our group can be high maintenance but anything that we asked was meet with a friendly and helpful answer. While there are back-in sites along Route 24 which can be noisy at times but most people in the group were not really bothered by it. Looking forward to returning.

Wonderland RV Park is close to Capitol Reef. Clean Park with grass and fruit trees full of fruit. Has clean restrooms and showers. They also have nice laundry facilities. WiFi is strong. The only drawback to the Park is that it is on a busy road and the RV spots back up to the road.

Closest RV park to Capital Reef. Be prepared to be off grid while you are visiting!

Groceries & alcohol are 30 minutes west in the town of Loa. The park offers free internet but cell service is very sketchy.The park is well maintained but, unfortunately, half the sites back right up to the highway (20' behind you with no visual barrier). No firepits, but you can borrow a propane fireplace for your space at no cost and just pay for the propane (on-site) that you have used. It is 10 miles from Capitol Reef. It also is located at the intersection with Hwy 12, one of the most beautiful highways in the country. From here you have access to Fish Lake, (Richfield [Walmart, Home Depot]), Boulder, Lower Bowens Lake, Burr Trail, Escalante and Hell's Backbone. The only negative is that it is near the highway and the back up sites get some noise. Ask for a pull-thru and you will be fine. Loved this place, it was special, we will be back.
