Came thru a dust storm in Salt Lake City and landed here in clean air and a breeze in late afternoon. No one at the office, but a very clear sign in procedure. Our husky loved the run in the "back yard" 4 acres - fenced on 3 sides. Quiet and peaceful. didn't use the bath or shower house . . .

Verizon speed: download 2.2 Mbps upload 4.8 Mbps. The other nice thing about this campground is the excellent dog park. Four acres of grass area for our dog to run after his ball!Otherwise, this is a basic but adequate campground. Sites are level, our 50 amp electrical connection worked well and there was good water pressure. There is light road noise from the interstate.

I overheard the nice taking a cancellation from some people who had trouble on the road. After expressing concern that they were OK, she told them she would cancel the reservation and wished them luck. No mention of a charge. She seemed genuinely upset that her prospective guests had troubles. And there was a cute kitten in a basket by the door I could pet while I waited. Easy check in (cash or check only but no form to fill out). Easy entrance and exit to long pull-through. Far enough off the highway to have quiet. Pretty good deal for $35.

All spots are level and have fast WiFi. The bathhouse is a single toilet with sink and shower which is decorated smartly and very clean and spacious. It too was in the shade so wasn’t dreadfully hot. This campground fit our needs at a reasonable price and no fuss - cash check in to reduce the costs.Access: easy on off the I-85Site quality: gravel roads through park with predominantly graveled spaces and grasses between and some growing in the sites. Shade along the fence line back in spots.Noise: Couldn’t hear any traffic from site and all campers were respectful of each other.Staff: Friendly and welcoming.

Traveling between CO and OR. We arrived at 10pm and the office was closed, though we did reserve a spot through their website. We typically boondock - and were only there to sleep; so even though the daily rate is $30, we were only charged $5/person when the office opened in the morning, since we didn’t use any amenities like elec. or showers. It was pleasant and quiet and MUCH better than stopping at a noisy diesel fueled truck stop. I should add the “amenities“ are QUITE rustic.

The place is clean and quiet with hookups and Internet that actually works. What more do you need while traveling to your destination? Weather was bad, so we pulled in here foe the night. Ended up with a little unexpected snow and really bad wind, so we were really grateful to find this spot.

We had an issue with power at one of the 50 amp sites when we first arrived, but the camp hosts showed us to a working site and even offered to help us pack up and move to it. When the owners got back they even gave us a partial refund for the nights spent in other site. We were told the site with power issues was supposed to have a cone out blocking it, but it had gotten moved unintentionally. The area was very well maintained and the park was nice and quiet. Not a lot of 50 amp sites and I wish they marked which sites were 50A and which were 30A so it was easier to pick one when the camp hosts aren't around. The camp wifi was pretty good and we had 5G AT&T signal out here surprisingly enough. Limited Verizon and no T-Mobile/Sprint for our devices. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy check in, just go in, fill out the form, put a check or cash in the envelope and go pick a spot. Very quiet and peaceful. We stop here every time we come through this part of Utah.

I've never been to an rv park more peaceful.Drawbacks: nothing but a diner and a Flying J (both very close) for almost an hour in any direction. Also, there's nobody running the place. Great when everybody plays by the rules, but there were quite a few campers that showed up at like 10pm, made a ruckus, hooked up, never paid, and took off at 8am. No skin off my back excpet when they wake me up laughing about how they aren't going to pay and slamming their doors in the middle of the night. Also, there's only 1 toilet and 1 shower. Didn't pose a problem while there, though...

There are a few back in sites that will provide shade on a hot day and big enough for my trailer and truck not to unhook. When you get to the park, just self-register at the cabin that sits near the entrance. If I remember correctly, they only take cash or check, no credit cards. There is a driving range also but I didn't use it so can attest to its usefulness. The owners have a very friendly big, big puppy that loved to play with Q-dog in the large grassy field. They have remodeled private showers, but I believe only 2, yes 2 in total. So if it was real crowded might be an issue but not during my stay. NOTE: This is now called Earp & James Hitching Post RV Park.
