The park is clean, well maintained, with friendly staff (and on-site owners). The Park would definitely be a planned destination since it's not on the route to/from Utah's big National Parks. The Park is just inside the Uinta National Forest. Outdoor recreation would be it's draw; hiking, fishing, and offroad trail riding. Many, many side-by-sides in the campground and heading up/down the adjacent highway. Park City is about a 30 minute drive away. We were here for the fishing; the Provo and Weber rivers. Wow, the donuts are huge at the Chevron Station in Kamas (our morning stop on the way to fishing)!!!Gravel sites with adjacent grass area and picnic table. Our site backed up to the Upper Provo River. Very relaxing sounds of the river. No issues with hookups. Zero/extremely limited cell service (Verizon); maybe half a bar. I was shocked that I did receive 2 incoming calls while there. WiFi was adequate for general internet surfing and email. Network did get slow over the weekend (with more campers) in the evening hours. My price listed in the review reflects average daily costs for 2 nights (weekday) and 2 nights (weekend), plus taxes and fees charged. We will return to this park again!

We wanted a spot on the river - there are only a few at this park. The other sites are large and spacious with many trees. Some have more amenities than others. We absolutely loved our spot - other than the pump which was there but we worked around it. Originally, we were only staying for 2 nights but after the first day we added to our stay. We stayed Tues-Thurs so getting a spot wasn’t a problem. The staff is very nice and accommodating. There was NO cell service unless you walked out of the campground. However they had WiFi available and we were able to get some texts out. We love to hike and there are some beautiful trails. We plan to make it a regular stop in Utah. Also - we love the sound of the river. If you don’t - ask for a spot away because it is really loud being a very good size. The gentleman that worked there said it slows down after May and fishing is great at that time. But while we were there, you really have to love the sound.

This place is awesome and right on the upper Provo river. You can rent out side by sides. Staff is awesome! Some spots are a little tight but overall great place.
