Small, somewhat older campground, but what a GEM! Owners live across the street and only do cash (at this time, anyway). Easy to access sites with electric, but they have a dump site and portable water easily accessible. Beautiful cottonwood-shaded sites with 30 or 50 amp service. The owners are very friendly and pointed us toward some slot canyon hikes, and are a front of local knowledge. Do yourself a favor and spend a few days near Capitol Reef at Sleepy Hollow.

Sleepy hollow is a small, older campground with a wonderful owner who is helpful and fun to talk with. Showers are included with your fee and WiFi might be available. We had it for the 2day stay. Very close to capitol reef NP - and only 6 miles south of Mesa Market - fresh oven baked sour dough bread and delicious goat cheese and yoghurt!
