We called and she had a spot. Nice family running it. They were fixing the potholes, they were trying to attack the weeds and burrs from last year. They do ask that you give them 3 days notice before leaving so they can get your meter read and it put into the system. $100 deposit for monthly. $360 for the month. Laundry room, a bit messy but washers and dryers work. $1.50 to wash, $2.00 to dry. It does take you through a neighborhood, but enjoy the view, cows, sheep, goats and horse along the way. They just planted pecan trees this year. It is very quiet and no one out at 2 am. except me who had to take dogs out and work at 4 a.m.Our favorite thing about this place was it was so quiet. I had great Verizon service- 4 and 5 bars every morning. Good upload and download speeds great pings. Would stay again!
We did not stay, so take this as basic review

Unfortunately due to the flooding all of the state park campgrounds were closed. We would have preferred to boondocks but it was high 80's for the next few days and some AC was necessary so I could work while on the road.We called a few other campgrounds and they were full then called Quail Crossing but there was no answer. (The office is closed on the Sunday). We took the drive out to see if we could snag a spot and well.......if you think the drive in is sketchy just wait to you see the campground. It was at the end of the road (perfect setting for a B horror movie). We pulled up and wandered around (no real after hour sign) looked like majority of the sites were full time. A women on the phone w a cigarette hanging from her mouth greeted me. She told me there was availablity that night but booked after. I was hoping for two days. We decided not to stay and moved on. Definitely a bit sketchy and not a place I would recommend even if it was free. Pass on this one.

Flat pull through site. Not much to look at. A little run down for my taste but worked. We stayed in winter and of course grass dead and trees bare so probably looks worse than in summer or spring. Close to Waco and Magnolia Farms, don’t miss that. People friendly. Good satellite signal for now.
Nice, level and quiet
