Seemed to have lots of full time residents but it was quiet and no issues. Very clean laundry and new showers/ bathrooms that were private. Clubhouse being renovated, adding exercise equipment. Overall we would feel comfortable staying here again. T-Mobile cell service was good enough to stream to TV from phone. WiFi available but weak, kept dropping out.

A rooster next door overworked his vocals from daybreak to sunset and trains come through town all night and let you know when they do. Four nights was too long. Three would have been plenty And allowed us to visit the 2 national parks. There is a good restaurant in town, El Capitan and a pretty well stocked grocery, Porter, for such a dead town. Spaces are reasonable and we were pleased with the good quality water. sewer and power are good. Good internet too. Our ATT worked well.

The towtruck driver pulled our Class A motorhome right into a pull thru site with no problem. The sites are large, open and perfectly level. There are trees at almost all the sites which provide well needed shade during a warm day. Yes, the ground is dirt and yes it is dusty...AS IS MOST OF TEXAS! They have a huge dog park with a row of pines down the center that provide shade. Our dog loved the expanse of it and got needed exercise. The owners are a accomodating, sweet couple who have done tons of work on the park in the last 8 years. The main building (still under construction) is slated to have a store, exercise equipment, games and a large television with seating area. This park is a great stop. The town, has not much to speak of but it is conveniently located 1 hour south of the Guadalupe Mtn National park. It is approx 1.5-2 hours east of El Paso. We are fairly close to the highway so there is road noise but nothing unexpected for the convenience of being close to the highway,

Nice big park, but fairly dusty. Easy access from I-10. Excellent bathroom and shower facilities. Nice laundry but dryers weren't working. Friendly staff. You can see that they are investing some money into several upgrades which they hope will be done by the end of 2022. They need more picnic tables.

Well lit without being a nuisance. Easy on and off the I-10. Restaurants and gas nearby. Quiet for being right off the freeway.

We decided to drive down the road to a Love's Truck Stop. No room, we then saw this RV Park and pulled in. It was clean, well lit, spacious between units (for social distancing). We went in and they said that they had room for us on the fly. My focus was getting laundry done. Much to my surprise laundry was $1 to wash and $1 to dry - What a bargain! They had 4 washers and 2 dryers. If there was one thing I would comment on would be perhaps expand your laundry facilities as I waited for a gentleman to finish up his laundry before putting my items in the dryer. Laundry was done at 10:30pm. Did not use their shower facilities however they looked clean. We were right off Interstate 20. There was some noise however due to the CoVid-19 traffic was light as compared to what it could be. After being on the road my head hit the pillow and I was out.In the morning we slept in, gathered up our garbage "leave no trace" disposed of it and left the RV Park. It was a low-key park with full hook up with trees. We would return!Gary and PamWisconsin

No fire rings (yay!) or picnic tables.Level and 50 amp FHUs. Park WiFi didn't work for us, but our ATT MiFi worked great. They also have cable. Largest dog run we've seen in 42 states - lots of room for pups to get their exercise. You can also walk out into the desert for a long ways. There are NO snakes in the cold!Van Horn is pretty sparse with a couple eateries that have inconsistent hours. The local market is adequate. Propane by the Valero when they're open, and at the Pilot when they're in stock. Next to I-10 the noise is surprisingly light. Great train that comes by a couple times a day.

The internet did not work even with our extender. Directv satellite worked fine and Verizon was 4g 3 bars. Once you check-in, you pick your own site. The interior roads and sites are red dirt/fine gravel – yes it tracks everywhere. There is no real distinction between the end of a site and the beginning of a road which was a benefit for us. We had to pull the MH far up to get the tow out of the middle of the road which put the front of the MH jutting out. Luckily, there were no rv sites in front of us so we weren’t blocking anything. The site was pretty level, and utilities worked fine. Sites are close together with a large rock or pine tree in between. Roads are wide and easy to navigate. They have a very large dog park for those with pets. We would stay again but I think they are overpriced for what you get.
