The park has nice amenities such as pool, playground, laundry, restrooms, dog run, and park-like setting with duck pond. Most sites are pull-thru and plenty long, but narrow. Beware of your slide placement before parking, as site poles may be in the way of a slide fully opening. Each site is gravel with a patio and they have 50 amp FHU. We enjoyed our stay at this campground and would definitely stay again. ????????????For videos on this campground and others, check out our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.

The park is newer and well kept and appealing. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. The pool was refreshing and nice since it was very hot when we were there. It was posted that smoking was not allowed in the pool area but people were continually smoking in there, including IN the pool. We mentioned it to the manager who said that the owner did not enforce this policy. There are very few trees except in the area where the permanent residents are, so it is very hot and there is very little shade. The sites are close together. We signed up for a monthly rate since we didn't know how long we would be there. They only do the monthly rate on a calendar month basis, but did prorate the additional days. They tried to charge us $50 more for the month than the rate posted in the office but did agree to charge us only the posted rate. Our electrical box quit working in the middle of the night one night. We notified management the next morning and 30 hours later still had not received any response. At 9 the next night they finally brought us a new breaker but the person did not know how to install it and my husband had to do it.

The place is very nice and I think as good as it gets in Texarkana. The cabins are nice and situated around a pond. The swimming pool is clean and good condition. The bathrooms & laundry room were very clean and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The down fall is really the area. Doing a little biking and grocery shopping in the area is not very appealing. The northwest part of Texarkana near Texas A&M is the nicest area and where we ended up taking a couple trips to. The WiFi was ok but not great.....typical for campground WiFi....not bad to get email or do a little web browsing but don't expect much more.Cell coverage was good in this area and T-Mobile was first with +20Mbps down & 12Mbps up. Next was AT&T with 7Mbps up & down, and Verizon was last at 5Mbps up & down.

The 50 amp service worked very well. The campground is nice, primarily concrete and rocks. Some trees would be nice, especially when it is very sunny. The amenities were nice. The pool, though warm, was refreshing. The bathrooms and showers were clean and modern. Our daughter opted to use the public shower rather than use the RV shower...that's how nice they were.OTA television worked well. Verzion signal was good. There are some sites that have full-timers on them, but they were all segregated off to the side of the campground that did have trees. We would definitely stay here again. Wifi was good.
