The roads and sites are gravel and dirt. The space was easy to back into with my 25’ class c. Spaces could be tight for a big rig. The park host was friendly and helpful. You can’t plan rain and when I had done on my last day it was mushy but not horrible. I would stay here again.

The pictures were deceiving. Tight sites that were mainly dirt, or mud if it is raining. And it rained, so it was a mess. No picnic tables, no fire pits. There was a nice dog run and the price was good. The Brazos River is not accessible from there unless I was missing something. We decided to leave on the fifth day of seven. There is no office which makes things a little difficult. I was told if we came back they would credit two days, but that will not happen! The hook ups were good if you can avoid the ant hills which were everywhere. I would not recommend this place, appears to be better suited to long term residents.

What a fantastic RV retreat. The owners really made us feel at home from the beginning! We stayed here during the crazy Texas freeze in February and we never lost water nor power (except for 2 hours later in the week). Good pull through spots and big area for our dog to run off leash. We would love to come back when it’s not so uncommo...moreWhat a fantastic RV retreat. The owners really made us feel at home from the beginning! We stayed here during the crazy Texas freeze in February and we never lost water nor power (except for 2 hours later in the week). Good pull through spots and big area for our dog to run off leash. We would love to come back when it’s not so uncommon cold so we can fish in the river and pond! Everyone in the campground was super-friendly an we really enjoyed the big bonfire our last night!
