Right by highway 281 so there was road noise but light at night. Came in with no reservation but they had plenty of spots. Most were pull through gravel sites. Overall nice experience.

  • Good place for a quick stop over.

Dave, the owner, was very easy to work with. All reservations, payments were made over the phone. There isn't an office on site. The spots aren't level, we had to use three orange blocks on one side under the tires to get us level. In the main rv parking areas there are virtually no trees at this location so you get full sun and lots of wind. There are a couple spots with some trees along the main road that are back-ins. He does have another campground next door with trees and shaded spots. Since we were only passing through to visit family, it was a convenient location. Zero internet. If you have dogs, there are lots of stickers in the grass! But on the other hand, lots of room to run on leash.
