The amenities and the great employees make this a recommended place to stay if you are coming to San Antonio. You are very close to the local attractions, and if you want to use the bus or Uber, both are easy to access. The place is crawling with kids/families having a ball - and dogs are very welcome here too. We loved the Salado Creek Trail - paved bike and walking trail that is longer then 7 miles. One site to avoid would be C8, it faces a maintenance shed/dumpster and I would not be happy if I was put on that one. ATT: 38 Mbps download Campground WiFi: 19 Mbps download Both at 5:30pmPARKING: free Sunday street/meter parking (dually!) on E street between 3rd and 4th both directions. Get there early to get a spot and free parking all day Sunday.Boudro's on Riverwalk - fresh guacamole for two made at your table.Pearl District: Larder cafe/shop for coffee and pastries or cookies - Farmer's Market on Sat and Artist/Farm market on Sunday. Park in "Pearl Stable" $8 / day under cover...but get there before 10 if driving a dually and go to far end/back in so you face out toward the wider exit row. Once that place fills up it is tight with a dually.Go to Alama on AM and register on Free Alamo Tickets website for a specific time to enter. Just show your smartphone to them - no paper ticket needed.On-Site: Laundry $2 wash/ $1.50 dry Fresh Pizza made to order Propane by the gallon Bus Stop 24 WiFi that worksStaffed Security Gate at entrance - Industrial area but felt safe at all times. Bikes must be locked up - warned of bike thefts occurring. Had a tow vehicle breakdown and staff were able to extend our stay 3 nights on same site.

They appear to be adding more patio sites and I recommend reserving one of those for this park.

I made a reservation for a full hookup site with a level concrete pad, and was given a site without sewer, and in a muddy level grass area. The park has water ponding all over, I had to walk through it to use the dump station, trash was overflowing out of the dumpster, people appeared to be living here, loud cars playing music at night. When I tried to discuss the issue with the owner they refused to speak with me by phone, and made me send an email. They were uncooperative, and unresponsive, again very unprofessional, will not make things right, even though they acknowledged a new employee made an error when taking my reservation. The corporate headquarters would not take accountability and passed all responsibility to the location owner, refusing to provide any help in escalating the matter for further resolution or corrective action.

Everything was clean and each site had some pretty great fire pits. Unfortunately, it poured rain all night. The rain could have been the reason the internet was slow if everyone else was using it. While the signal appeared strong, the service itself lagged and we stopped trying to use it. We would definitely come back, given the quality of the sites, the access to the trail and activities -- but for the price, I hope they improve their internet.

There is a bike path/walking path right from the park along the creek. Not being fans of RV parks, those all make it worth it for us! The full hookup sites are close together but we’ve always just picked water and electric and each time we’ve not have neighbors on either side and don’t have to feel packed in between the big rigs. Typical KOA activities and kid friendly.

It is right down the road from the att event center. If I had arrived the following week there would not have been space for me due to the rodeo. It is well kept and has a nice pool, large shade trees, a lounge w large tv, chuck wagon (closed when I was there late January), walking circuit, good shower houses. The shower bathrooms nearest me were nice and private, each one ( a shower and a toilet in one room) could be locked, so you have space to spread out and can take your time. The park sits on quite a large piece of land and covered quite well by trees, they even have a nice pecan grove you can stroll through. Even though it is shaded the heat can still get up there during the summer months. For that they have a very nice newly renovated pool area that is at the front of the park right as you drive in. Another neat thing about this park it the multi use (pedestrian/non motorized wheels) trail that runs along the creek on the edge of the park. This trail connects to a few city parks, but once completed should give you biking access to a majority of the city's trail system. As you get close to the park you may start asking yourself if this was a good choice due to the look of the surrounding area, especially if you enter from the east. It's more of a lower income/industrial area but the park itself is gated and we felt very comfortable for our entire stay. The drive downtown is super easy, under 10 minutes without traffic, and a pretty inexpensive Uber cab ride if needed.
