I would strongly suggest checking with management as to what their rates are now and in the future. It is convenient to the main highway IH35. Takes about 30 minutes to San Antonio. Two military bases are close. This is a train quiet zone. No horns blaring. Supermarkets are close by along with the major hardware stores. If you use a gps try 12315 OConnor road instead of 12015. I checked with mine and took me right to the entrance. The streets are a little confusing at the intersection. I have been a full timer at this park for 15 years. The other full timers are very friendly.

Broken speed bumps just makes for a frustrating motorhome arrival and departure. Typical small RV sites with dog grass options around the park. What we found the most bizarre is the entrance and exit of every site has curbs! Likely fine in a trailer but precarious in a motorhome. Doesn’t make sense to us. AT&T was surprisingly spotty here even though it’s fine in the rest of the city. They offer Tengo WiFi for a cost. Pretty silly. Was a fine spot to visit family, but not one we would eagerly return to.

The folks at check in were very friendly. When we parked our rig it looked like the previous camper had either dumped their ashtray or had been smoking outside and just dropping their butts - there were 20-30 cigarette butts on the ground between our door and the picnic table. A quick call to the office and they sent someone out to clean it up, which we greatly appreciated. We also asked about checking in early on our day of arrival and checking out late and they were helpful in that as well. I think stated checkin time is 3 or 4, but they let us check in around noon. Stated check out time is 11, but they said we could stay as late as 3 or 4 since no one else was checking in to that site on a Sunday afternoon, and if we needed to check out after that we could just pay a $20 late check out fee.

Other than that (and we’ll absolutely stay here again when we make it back down to this area for family visits), there’s not much else that would bring us back. While the campground was adequate, it was older (and felt it) and was mostly full-time residents (like brick mailboxes erected in front of rigs and plenty of mobile homes/manufactured homes). Totally fine and didn’t feel like a junkyard (people obviously take pride in their places), but it wasn’t what we look for in a campground to escape and see the sights. Sites were shaded with trees. Again, this is a great campground for anyone looking for easy access to the city of San Antonio. We were ten minutes from the airport and twenty minutes to downtown. We had no problem maneuvering and leveling our 38-foot fifth wheel toy hauler in the campground. The sites had plenty of room to disconnect the tow vehicle. We had strong cell signal on both Verizon and AT&T. The park offers WiFi, but we did not connect through the public network, so cannot speak to its strength.
