As stated most are permanent renters. When we arrived there was one site and we could not a found it if a resident had not helped us.

We needed to do laundry and have FHU for a day or two and this RV park was in our Passport America network (first 2 nights at $12,50, then $25 - the regular price). We had called in advance to make sure they had room and there was only one site left. We almost turned around once we got there since the site arrangement was very weird: we were perpendicular to the site behind and the rear of our bus was just a few feet from the slide-out of our neighbor... Oh well, it was late and we needed to shower! It ended up being totally fine. The campground is full of locals/seasonal/year-round campers and I believe there is only a few sites that are nightly sites. Most people have mailboxes with numbers! The place is a bit old with a few old permanent trailers, but for the price, it was fine for us. It's not far from the road, so you hear the trafic a bit, but it gets pretty quiet at night. Lots of dogs in the rigs (some seem to be alone all day when the owners are out working), so there was some barkng. It seems like most RV parks in the area are seasonal like this one. We chose this park because it is convieniently localted near Pedernales State Park (hike) and Reimer's Ranch (bike and climb), as well as Hamilton Pool (warm natural pool).
