Update to previous review. Friday night was insane. Rig next us played music as if we were at a concert. NO ONE from the camp host to owner told them to quiet it down...it was 1030 pm and quiet hours had started at 1000. Motorcycles and 4-wheelers racing by all night. If I wanted to be at a drunk party concert I would have paid to go to one but I don’t expect this at valid campground. Don’t stay here in a weekend unless you don’t want to sleep or have any race and quiet after 10:00pm. I’ll never stay at this place again. Felt unsafe all night, didn’t want to risk ending up in a fight or worse by asking hosts to do their job.

We had an even and all hook ups were on left side where as the odd number sites had hookups on the right. We asked to switch sites but all were booked for next nite. Luckily we have only a 21’ft and pulled it out as far as possible to run hoses to connections. Sites are tight together, our door faced next doors sewer hose and our awning almost touched their rig. Not the best configuration. If I had known the awkward placing of the hookups and that all the odd numbers were booked, I’d have gone elsewhere. There is NO 30 amp hook up, only 50 and 120. There is NO laundry as indicated on Campendium. There no website to find out more before reserving. So don’t trust everything on this site, ask if you need something before booking. As newbies, we learned the hard way. Positives, the river is nice, shade trees at each site, gravel-FYI for parking. Picnic tables at each site, and they have these floating tables to rent. Nice place for a quick overnight. Music was playing from one camper during the day. I didn’t mind it but if you want quiet, quiet hours aren’t until later. Close to road, so be prepared for road noise, but it’s a country road so no big semi’s or freeway type noise. No cell service, but they do have WiFi so be prepared for WiFi calling.

Very friendly owners and one of (if not, only) campground that allows dogs on the Guadalupe River. Sites were relatively level and graveled. Each site had a picnic table and access to river. Sites are relatively tight so make sure you leave room for your slides. I forgot to get pictures as I wasn’t at the site all day due to the rain and visiting family in New Braunsfels, which is close by. Many sites had trees for shade and helped add charm to the campground. I’d like to come back in the summer to hang out and tube.
