The park is pretty well kept and right on the prime Guadalupe River. They have about 7 sites that are right on the river (within 45'). The kids and I enjoyed fishing in the river. They have some kayaks that can be rented upon request. They ONLY drawback to this RV park can be the noise from I-35 which is directly overhead. If you are from the city, then its probably not that big of a deal. But if you are looking for a quiet secluded RV campsite, you may need to look elsewhere. We have stayed here 3 times and will be back in the future

For an RV park under a bridge, sandwiched between two highway overpasses...not too shabby! A slew of Muscovy and Egyptian ducks have made the riverbank their home and were friendly enough for the kiddos to feed. Would have been a good campground loop if we’d have brought the bicycles. The bridge is absolutely gorgeous and the whole vibe was family camping all around. Tossed around the old Velcro ball. Cascarones galore. And the river scene was Texas picturesque. Convenient to all the little small town downtowns to visit here, New Braunfels, Gruene, Buda, and so on. As to the highway noise? It was more of a constant flow of water sound than annoying, and made it possible for us to chat with our pals without the nearby neighbors hearing our every word. Bonuses to everything peepskills!

  • Park was nice, but the freeway noise was just too much!

This is nice clean well run RV Park with friendly staff. The park is right on the river with kayak rentals and a boat ramp. It’s a typical RV Park with the rigs spaced close together. The BIG problem with this park is that it is directly under a bridge for I-35! The noise from the freeway is very loud and continues all day and night! The noise might be more acceptable if the park were cheaper, but we paid $32, one-half the normal rate, using our Passport Card. I can’t understand anyone paying $64+ per night for a park with this amount of freeway noise!

  • A touch of nature next to a busy freeway.

Okay, this campground was expensive. But, friends recommended it, and it was nice to be by the river. You can even fish in the river. Cell service was good restrooms were nice. Location was close to family. I would try some other options in the area next time, but I don't regret staying this time.
