It is no longer an RV park. You can technically drive in and try to boondocks here but you will most likely be told to leave by the border patrol...Too bad because it’s a beautiful location.
Just a port in the storm

No kidding, we hunkered down here because there were tornado watches and definitely a high wind advisory. No tornado's materialized here but it got us off the road and out of the winds. Basically, just a gravel slot but I was impressed with 45+ TV channels. There was one negative for us and that was goat head stickers for the dogs to get stabbed with. They were EVERYWHERE! All in all though, it was not a place I would winter-over in but it worked for the refuge from the storm. Oh yeah, one last thing, Internet was available and quite good. I was able to stream short youtube clips.
Fine to see Marfa. No frills.

The nightly rate, I am not 100% sure. But it was comparable to the other parks in Marfa. Over all it’s a fine base camp for going out and about in town. There is a self check in station. We did not see any employee the entire time we were there. There are no amenities. Just a basic site with ample space. Nothing more nothing less. ...more The nightly rate, I am not 100% sure. Many of the restaurants in town are not open. In fact it was hard to find the ones that were open. We will definitely return to the area, but would not necessarily seek out this park for a return stay. We were just very neutral about it.
