A lot of dust is kicked up by driving in and out.For those who have kids the play area is not much to look at. It needs improving. We didn’t utilize the laundry but it seemed fairly big. Very quiet while there as they have quiet hours. Be careful when driving through during the day as a lot of kids were out playing. There is a parent who we watched yell at anyone she felt was going over the 5mph. The park served its purpose of having a place to stay while visiting. The site entrance needs to be more well lit, and a bigger campground entrance sign, or you might miss your turn into the place. The flags in the ditch aren’t always enough. 20 minute drive to Baylor/Magnolia Silos areas and you are about 10 minutes from the highway.

Stopped here on our way west. Easy to find, very clean and quiet. About 40% are full-timers. Nice laundry room. Fairly big-rig friendly. Had a pull thru and did not need to disconnect. Good dog park. A little dusty…all gravel.

This was our first month of RVing and it was a great place to stay to figure out how everything worked! The location is central to everything you could need, groceries, RV items at Walmart, gas, and auto stores. And central to everything you want.. silos, Harp Design co, JDH etc. It’s off the road enough that you don’t hear any traffic. We backed up to a manufacturing plant that starts working at 5am every morning including Saturday, so if you can park on the left side of the RV park, you might have it a little quieter. The spots are pea gravel and Brandon the owner works hard at keeping everything level. Our spot had a definite slope and our jacks had to extend pretty far. Keep in mind, we we’re new so maybe someone with more experience would’ve had better luck at leveling. Coolest features.... just down chapel road, there is a house with a small zoo. We passed a zebra, a couple heard of antelope, an elk and a couple pigs and deer each day. Also, a few times a week SpaceX, which is 13 miles away, tests their rockets. You can hear and feel these and it’s super freaky until you know what’s happening, then, it’s awesome. Brandon was super accommodating and spends every waking hour working on the park. We enjoyed the walking trails through the trees and the fact that there were trees between most RV spots. Brandon works to make sure the trees don’t interfere with the RV pull ins and slides. There are a number of pull through spots as well as back in. There is also a nice laundry facility. We didn’t use it since we have our own, but it’s clean and new. We would recommend this spot highly and worry when we want to go back it will be full. You should stay here.

Doggie bag and trash stations throughout the park. Great hosts. Check in currently is via email and a sign at the entry by the airstream. New park so pardon their dust while they make improvements and enhancements. Full hooks ups.
