We boondocked, since we have solar, 10pp, so $20/day. The electric and water was $25 and full was $30/day. The full hookup area had some long-term residents, who looked a bit rough, but were quiet. The electric and water was $25 and full was $30/day. The full hookup area had some long-term residents, who looked a bit rough, but were quiet. Not much shade. We got shade from our big oak tree in the afternoon. There was a picnic table and fire ring. There was some down limbs for a fire if you bring a saw. There were two big areas of bluebonnets and other wildflowers. We had our pick of a huge area of pasture, which also had a few ponds. There was cow manure around, but no cows. We got water and could have dumped in an RV site, but did not. The shower house was a concrete and metal building, a bit rough but it worked. Lots of hot water. Fairly convenient to Enchanted Rock. The road off the highway is a bit rough but it gets better the further you go. The dumpster was stuffed our first few days. We couldn't hear the highway much where we were. Great Verizon, no T-Mobile. Great over the air TV.
Good for overnight.

The hosts are very nice! Full hook up sites were really close together and many appeared to be long term. We chose a site in electric only section which was pretty much unoccupied and only had to do minimal leveling. Don’t think any sites are actually level. We chose a site in electric only section which was pretty much unoccupied and only had to do minimal leveling. Don’t think any sites are actually level. Noise from hwy 16 isn’t too bad....wouldn’t want to be here during a Harley rally though! Didn’t check out the restrooms since we used our own. There is a simple dump station and water available. Close to Llano, Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock.

I tented here. It's a converted ranch, so there is a ton of space. The sites aren't marked and you can set up wherever you like, but the prime spots do have picnic tables and fire rings
