We stayed here for 3 nights on site number 11. It felt like we were the only ones here. They have some full timers but they were gone all day. A few came home in the evenings but hardly saw or heard them. Close to Jefferson and Caddo lake.

  • Great find in the middle of nowhere

I give this place 5 stars because it was comfortable, clean, close to what we wanted to do, and the owners are so welcoming and nice. We had two RVs in our group, the sites were easy to get in to, each site had a bbq pit, a fire pit and a light. The sites are spacious with grass. There is a bath house with washers and dryers that are almost new. There is wi fi as well. The park is close to Caddo Lake State Park and it is across from Big Cypress Bayou, there are a couple of decks that you can fish from. The owners bought this park about 9 months ago and have done a lot of work. It is in the country but within minutes from Karnack, Texas. There are some really good restaurants nearby the Shady Glade Cafe has great food and the best catfish i’v Ever had our whole table felt the same! The staff was top notch! Back to the RV park, pets are welcome and ther is plenty of green space on the park to walk them. Because of the location, cell service is not great except for Verizon but can be overcome by setting your phone on cellular wi fi. I can’t say enough about this park! If you are looking for a place to stay that you can see the stars and hear the crickets this is your place very reasonable and peaceful!
