We have to be in this region for work on a bi-annual basis and we’re tired of the inflated rates at Oakdale Park in Glen Rose so we sought another option his time. This park is outside of Glen rose in the country. There isn’t any scenery to enjoy, the trees aren’t providing much shade, but the monthly rate of 400 for a 50 amp FHU was enticing. A 30 amp would have been 350/mo. This includes electric and okay WiFi. One plus over being in town is that it is quiet. There is a mix of extended stay and short stay residents. There are two washers and two dryers at $1.00 a load each. Once again, very reasonable. The owner/manager lives on site within the main office building. There are varying site lengths available, big rigs would be okay. Each site has a picnic table. The grass is mostly hearty weeds, but I forgive it because I am surprised anything grows in the dry summer heat. There isn’t anything for kids to do, but it isn’t far from the things Glen Rose area has to offer.
