We stayed here as an overnight location on our way to Padre Island. I called late and they answered the phone right away. They were polite and friendly and very helpful. Showers were hot. Laundry was good. The park itself was quiet and well kept. It looked like quite a few longer term stays but they kept their areas neat and clean. There was a bit of road noise but it was not bad and there is a train that runs on the other side. It did not bother us but to a light sleeper it might. I only heard one all night. The farther back in the park you go would minimize this I think. The wifi worked great for us to get caught up on a few emails, etc. We use At&T and we did not have an issue with cell service but I can't remember how many bars we had so I put down 3.
