We stayed just one night at this CG since we were passing through to another destination. If we needed to, we would stay here again as an overnighter. The campground is in Freeport (very close to L.L. Bean) and pretty easy to find/maneuver into. This campground, although small, is big rig friendly. We had excellent Verizon coverage. Although the CG is older, the grounds were well kept and the bathrooms were very clean. (The showers were hot and full-sized, which was so nice! They even had small hotel bottles of shampoo and soaps in case you forgot yours.) The baths are in a big building in the center of the CG where a central game room and other meeting facilities are located. This CG had a lot of seasonal folks and seemed to cater to those who have been retired for a long time. Needless to say, the CG was pretty quiet. The owners of the CG are kind, efficient and have clear rules for your stay in the CG. The whole CG has full hookups and everything worked well for us. Please note: You must pay by personal check or cash; no credit cards are accepted.
