Convenient location to Fredericksburg, Johnson City and Luckenbach. Adventure out to LBJ live farm and museum. As well as Enchanted state park. The RV sites are wonderful with full hookups. If you stay on a site by the creek side, you get to wake up to Doper Sheep. The park could use some water park slides for teens or seniors young at heart. But the staffs Texas hospitality makes up for any adult water ride. Wonderful and relaxing camping resort. Definitely coming back for more adventures.

Since we were coming here anyway for an event, we decided to just plop down here. It was a decent location for that. First tip - if you enjoy wine and are here long term, make your first stop Grape Creek across the street and join their wine club. You only have to commit to their next shipment with a 3 bottle minimum. But if you do, you get 2 FREE GLASSES of wine EVERY SINGLE DAY! This is one of the finest wineries in the area, and a fantastic deal that made staying at Jellystone this long tolerable. The park has a lot to offer and is great for a few days or attending an event - but for a month long stay - the rough edges made their appearance. Let's get to it (you can read the other reviews for all the stuff we loved):- The hot tub was only operational for 1/2 our visit. Everyday we were promised the part was arriving today and it would be fixed immediately. It never was by the time we left. And when it was open, while there's no posted hours ANYWHERE (and the hot tub is nowhere near the camping area - so noise shouldn't be an issue) - a workamper comes out at 9pm and kicks you out. - The fitness room is a nice thought, but the equipment is pretty old, the room is tightly squeezed in and it SMELLS with so little ventilation. - The main community room needs a refresh on the furniture, it's all peeling. - The whole park is dirt and gravel - even the roads. Expect a lot of dust on your vehicle/RV (or muddy when wet) and lots of noise every time someone drives or walks by. - While peaceful and quiet during the week, this place fills up on weekends. Not just the park, but the entire area. Expect the Wi-Fi to crawl to a halt, and all the cellular carriers in the area get overloaded. We were able to eek out a bit of usable signal on Sprint (our Plan D carrier) thankfully. During the week, signal was just fine on all carriers. - Being 10 miles from town, there's not a lot to do here except visit the nearby wineries. That gets old. Walking around the park gets boring pretty quick. We're also a bit disappointed that we paid for a pull-thru spot for our monthly stay at $545.. but we had to move to a much lower end spot for the last 10 days of our stay. There was no consideration in fee reduction or extra days for that move - not even when we expressed interest in extending a few day due to a death in the family. They only offered to charge us the full daily/weekly rate to extend (no offer of proration for already being on a monthly). Kinda disappointed in that. All and all... the staff here is pretty darn friendly and helpful (except the hot tub and extension thing). The facility has so much potential and so much to offer. We enjoyed breaks at the arcade (only 3 games to play however) and the hot tub when it was working.

We were here with a bigger group so we enjoyed the larger gathering space for us to meet in. Cell service was 1-2 bars 4G of AT&T service, so it was frustrating at times. WiFi was spotty at best, especially because the park was full. They have a swimming pool and unfortunately, the hot tub heater was broken. There are lots of activities for kids and Yogi seemed to be everywhere around the park. This campground is very close to lots of wineries and is 10 miles east of Fredericksburg for unique shopping and restaurants.

Wagon rides in the morning, playground and other activities kept her happy. Short drive into Fredericksburg where there is great shopping, food, HEB (nice one) and a Walmart. Also, down the street from several great wineries and a local brewery.

We stay at this RV Park regularly. It's located the heart of the Texas wine country, with wineries opposite and nearby. Close to Fredericksburg for shopping and restaurants. We just returned from 12 days in New Mexico and use this RV resort to wind down, enjoy a few wines, have a swim in the pool and relax before a short drive home.
