When I called in late the owner, Mark, warned me of bad storms in the area with large hail. Not good any time, but especially towing my new Airstream. The park is about five years old with wide sand pads. They have a small dog park.Good spot to stay coming or going to Big Bend NP.

Sites are quite large and many guests are able to park multiple vehicles and/or multiple trailers on their site. There is also a nice dog run that has a couple disc golf holes, horse shoes, and a small putting green. The only downsides are the owner's dog barks whenever someone drives by or while visiting the dog park and there is a little bit of road noise and sounds from the FedEx station next door. Otherwise, the campground is nice and the owners are friendly.I am updating my review from 3 starts to 1 after having been here for a couple days. The owner’s dog never stops barking. Every time someone moves outside their trailer or a vehicle drives by the dog starts barking again.
Excellent

I’m traveling cross country. It was a pleasure staying here. Owners were nice, not overbearing. Lots are very big and easy to back into. Clean and laundry room available. Very good WiFi. Cell signal good (TMobile). Excellent price.
Great Spot for an Overnighter When Traveling the i10.

I only found it after our normal stop on our way home through Texas was full (as was the other three I called). So I scanned Google maps and it showed up there. I called and the owner said come on over. When we arrived he met us on the golf cart and let us pick our own site. It is well off the i10, unlike the other campgrounds we're used to when traveling across country which was nice. But there was still some road noise from a somewhat heavily travelled road on one side and a FedEX yard on the other. So one star removed for that. All sites are back in, but ours was long enough that we didn't have to unhitch. Connections were all brand new, but were at the very back of the sites (some might find that awkward).WiFi worked good, owner gave us the password.Verizon was four bars.
